Description:
Located in a peaceful spot opposite the beach, and with everything that you need for a wonderful holiday, the Moulin Kann Villas can be found in the south of Mahé. This accommodation is located on a hillside in wonderful green surroundings with an open view of palm trees and the ocean, making it ideal for a relaxing holiday! When you’re not out exploring, you might want to spend some time on the partially-covered balcony and relax there with a cool drink while the ocean breeze blows across your face. Each one-bedroom apartment comes with a bedroom as well as a small plunge pool where you can cool off when you want to.
All of the apartments are bright and modern and lined with tiles. The rooms offer a cosy atmosphere and unique interiors thanks to yellow, green, or red colours. The apartments also offer one or two spacious bedrooms, each with an elegant bathroom. The open living area ensures that you have a cosy atmosphere and plenty of space to relax or talk to each other, as well as a terrace where you can sit outside and enjoy meal times in the open air. The fully-equipped kitchen offers trendy style and practical facilities, ensuring that self-catering is simple. Large windows and clever lighting ensure that you have plenty of light whatever the time of day.
Deep in the south of Mahé, the scenery is perhaps more “paradise-like” than in the north. Moulin Kann is the ideal starting point to discover the area and enjoy the deep blue ocean. The famous spice garden Jardin du Roi is 5.3 km away, while there are also plenty of beaches where you can relax. The nearby beach offers shallow water and calm conditions for swimming and snorkelling. Nearby restaurants allow you to enjoy local cuisine, while the Takamaka Bay Distillery lies 7 km away and is well worth a visit. Smaller shops can be found in the nearby village as well, while the closest large supermarket is in Quatre Bornes, around 2 km over the hills towards the western coast.

The complex is located in the south of the island and is rather quiet. We had a two room apartment with a beautiful sea view over the terrace. The small communal pool served its purpose. The less frequented beach is directly opposite. There we saw a sea turtle laying eggs. Bathing shoes are recommended because of the many sea urchins. The road to be crossed to the beach is not a problem. Since the traffic decreases significantly after dark, the noise pollution at night is also low. The air conditioners worked well. The care by the friendly housekeeper was excellent. The equipment with crockery was rather poor, we missed a real coffee machine, there is a point deduction. Other beautiful beaches (Takamaka, Anse Intendance, Policebay) can be reached within 10 minutes by car. Within 5 minutes by car you can reach Quatre Bornes, where you will find several supermarkets and a takeaway stand by the church with cheap and tasty food. If you drive further north on either side of the island you will find a lot more. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
For the price of the accommodation, I unfortunately expected more. The accommodation was significantly more expensive than our other accommodations in the Seychelles, but unfortunately lower in terms of performance. I would have liked friendlier, more accommodating employees, more professionalism and a cleaner kitchen. At this price, you can expect more. It started with small disappointments: for example, the existing bedside lamps could not be used because the lamps had European plugs and of course they did not fit into the sockets or there was no contact person: inside on the day of departure, so we were pressed for time Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
