Activities and specials:
- The hotel operates the small beach restaurant "La Gaulette" on Anse Gaulette Beach, where you can enjoy your dinner on a wonderful sea-view veranda.
- The location lends itself well to swimming and snorkeling holidays in the Seychelles, although the hotel is not recommended for hikers.
- The hotel's staff will be more than happy to arrange various trips and tours around Mahé, such as trips to the capital Victoria, or excursions to one of Mahé's many other beaches.
Description:
The Lazare Picault hotel is situated in a quiet garden in the south-west of Mahé, just a minute's walk from the beach. The location on a fantastic hillside overlooking the bay means that the view is almost unparalleled anywhere in the Seychelles. Baie Lazare, at the foot of the hill, owes its name to its discoverer, Lazare Picault, and is a snorkeling and swimming paradise. The water is almost always calm, and, pleasingly, the beach slopes gently into the ocean, in stark contrast to the adjacent Anse Takamaka bay, which is rather more troublesome.
Guests of the Lazare Picault have the choice between rooms in different categories for their Seychelles holiday. The traditional architecture of the accommodation is a natural fit in the rustic surroundings, including the dense rainforest that extends up the slopes of Mahé's coastline. The hotel's white colour really stands out amongst this scenery as well, giving the hotel even more appeal.
The location of the Lazare Picault is also ideal to discover the south of Mahé and the west coast of the island, including some of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles. Enjoy highlights such as Anse Takamaka, Anse Intendance, and the breathtaking Baie Lazare.

Here we got the Sperior room, which was shown on the website, the location and view of the Baie Lazare is great. The only downside: the breakfast was by far the worst of all the accommodations, very borderline, very bad and what's even worse made: if you wanted, for example, bacon, sausages or tomatoes with the fried eggs, you had to pay extra, not good at all, this facility is also not for the hard-wired, no chance, the Restaurante le Gaullette, near the beach, which belongs to the brother, was very good belongs to the hotel owner, we would immediately give it 5 stars Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
