Description:
Denis Island, located north of Mahé, is a true gem amongst the Seychelles islands, having remained almost untouched by humans. Here is one of few places where you can experience a holiday completely in sync with nature. Discover colourful bird species, or go snorkeling and discover bright schools of fish swimming along the stunning coral reef. Whatever you do, you'll enjoy a fantastic stay in the luxurious Denis Private Island Hotel.
The hotel is embedded in the lush natural environment of the island, and puts a lot of effort into the preservation of this natural beauty. For this reason, the furniture of the 25 villas and cottages was built from local palm tree residues and lumber, and the hotel's massage parlour sources its coconut oil locally. These are just two examples of the many ways the hotel protect their gorgeous surroundings, making tourism possible on this island.
All guests of the hotel will enjoy first-class service and an all-inclusive meal plan. After a rich breakfast, you'll have to choose between walking along the divine sandy beach, or taking part in one of the tours offered by the hotel. These tours included fishing excursions, snorkeling and scuba diving trips, or island tours which will allow you to discover more about Denis Island's unique natural environment. The offshore coral reef is also not to be missed, since it ranks among the most intact reefs on the planet. It can be explored via snorkeling or scuba diving; the choice is yours! Alternatively, you can take a bike or kayak around the island. But be sure to take your camera, as you'll want to remember the breathtaking scenery forever.
The tastefully furnished rooms all come equipped with a veranda, sun loungers, seating, and direct beach access, so you'll always feel two steps away from paradise.
Transfer Details:
Denis Island is only accessible via plane from Mahé (daily). Duration of the flight: around 30 minutes.

The check-in at the Zil Air base of Mahé closes 1 hour prior to departure.

If an infant turns 2 years old during the stay on Denis Island, a surcharge of €263/ infant applies for the return flight.
Due to space restrictions, guests are only allowed one piece of checked baggage weighing a maximum of 15kg per person. In addition, one small piece of hand baggage of up to 7kg (excluding trolley bags).
Please note that further information is required upon booking in order to book the flight (body weight, arrival and departure details of international or domestic flights, accommodation before and after staying at Denis Island).

5*, full board, deluxe beach cottage, private island Dream island, unlike the others we visited, absolutely flat, almost all around sandy beach. Cottage extremely private, you are completely alone. The path to the cottage alone, branching off the main path, is already 50 m. After about 20 m you pass our two bicycles and then reach the veranda, 50 m in front of you is the beach, which is practically yours alone. The cottage has its own spa area with outdoor shower and sink. Everything is embedded in the most beautiful nature. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast was great. The reefs are ideal for snorkeling and diving. We also filmed sea turtles here; the only thing you don't see on Felicite(like this). But you also have to be lucky with the visibility underwater. Sometimes it is cloudy, other times crystal clear. The interior of the island is pure jungle. A hike like the one we did is only possible if you wear long trousers, sturdy shoes, a covered upper body and plenty of mosquito spray. Mosquitoes are also around on the outskirts of the island. The positive thing is that after about 2 hours you no longer notice anything and the small swelling has disappeared. The island is a private island and can only be reached by plane. Docking with ships/boats (except those belonging to the island) is prohibited. (/w rats) But you have a unique natural environment here that is second to none. You can get everywhere pretty quickly by bike; there are "bike paths". In the interior we came across a colony of terns; thousands of them. If you are a diver, you can go one step further and take a boat (for a fee) out directly behind the reef. Here you can also see rays and larger sharks. All in all, an island that is a dream.
