Discover the natural paradises of Curieuse and St Pierre.
The tour starts at 09.30 am in Grand Anse at the Beach Villa Guesthouse. Depending on the sea state, a 30-45 minute boat trip to Curieuse Island awaits you.
Upon arrival, you will explore Curieuse on a guided hike, where you can enjoy the breathtaking nature and meet the inhabitants of the island, the world-famous giant tortoises.
The barbecue area at the beautiful beach is the destination of your hike. Here you will enjoy classic Creole barbecue.
After lunch, you will have time to relax on the fine sandy beach until the boat leaves for snorkeling at around 2:00 pm. Depending on the sea state, the snorkeling sites close to St Pierre may change slightly. On the way back to Praslin you will also discover the beaches of Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette by boat.
Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and take some souvenir photos. Afterwards you will go back to the starting point, where you will arrive around 16:00
Provider Information:
The charter company Makaira Boat Charter, founded in 1998, owns two boats. Besides classic island tours, for example to the popular islands of Curieuse, St Pierre or Cousin, various fishing tours and island transfers are offered as well. The experienced crew is looking forward to welcoming you on board.
Terms & conditions:
All excursions are weather dependent. In case of bad weather, very rough sea or other unforeseen events, Makaira Boat Charter reserves the right to cancel a tour or change the route. The safety of the clients is of utmost importance to the provider.

- landing fee
- doft drinks e.g. Coke (1 per person)

The price does NOT include:
- Landing fee for Curieuse/St. Pierre of SCR 300/person from 12 years on (approx. €20)
Kindly note that all clients that booked tours to Curieuse need to buy tickets online beforehand or pay on-site by credit card.

On request, a transfer to the meeting point can be organised for a fee of 10€ (payment on site). Depending on the place of stay, the pickup takes place between 08:30 and 09:00.
