Description:
Coco de Mahi on La Digue offers a unique Seychelles flair. Surrounded by decorative palm trees, banana- and other tropical plants as well as a lawn and a great barbecue shelter, it is located in Anse Réunion in the south-western part of La Digue. In authentic Creole style hospitality, you can spend a relaxing holiday alone, as a couple or as a trio, living completely self-sufficiently or taking advantage of a variety of appetising catering options. The infrastructure is excellent - all daily necessities as well as restaurants of different price ranges are within walking distance. Meals can be enjoyed on the large private terrace, whilst at the same time enjoying the view of the dreamlike garden landscape.
The three bungalows, each about 30m² in size - one single house and one semi-detached house - await you with an authentic island feel and an inviting, airy design. Lots of wooden features, stylish floor tiles and maritime accessories create a real feel-good ambience in which you can quickly feel at home. Relax in the living area with the TV or prepare a delicious meal with some tropical ingredients in the fully-equipped kitchen. You can spend relaxing holiday nights in the very cosy bedroom. A bathroom with a shower completes each chalet.
The guest house, Coco de Mahi, is only about 350m away from Anse Réunion beach, making it the perfect location for a great beach holiday. Other beaches such as Grand Anse, Anse Severe and Anse Source d'Argent are also easily accessible on foot or by bike. Although the island of La Digue is quite small, there is a good infrastructure here and several shopping and dining options can be found very easily. If you feel like hiking, you can climb the Nid'Aigle mountain and enjoy a fantastic view of the island, sea, and neighbouring islands.

The stay with the German host Mario and his Creole wife Hillary was simply wonderful and Mario is the best host ever. Simply perfect. Thank you very much for that!!! ;-). We felt like a member of the family at all times and really enjoyed our time on La Digue, which was unfortunately far too short. The evening meal in particular was simply amazing and the breakfast very individual and sensational. We have eaten in many good restaurants, but have never enjoyed such a rich and individually prepared meal. Thank you very much for that. The many fun and atmospheric evenings with him were always a highlight and we learned a lot about the culture and insider knowledge. The complex including the garden is designed with a lot of love and taste and can only be recommended. Please keep it up! You are simply great! Thank you for everything! Best wishes Olga and Andre Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
A small, very nice facility. There are only 3 houses (1x semi-detached house (somewhat noisy) and 1x single house). Particularly noteworthy is the beautifully landscaped, dense garden with many useful plants. Even more noteworthy is the delicious food, both for breakfast and dinner, served by the lady of the house. The owner of the house is a German emigrant. The location is a little out of the way, which is almost common on La Digue and is not a problem since you can get everywhere pretty quickly by bike anyway. Very well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, which was not necessary for us since, as mentioned, we enjoyed the extremely excellent half board. The system owners and operators are super friendly/warm. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
