We stayed in the deluxe apartment on the top floor for two weeks, and it was absolutely fantastic. We were four people, two adults and two children, and the apartment felt very spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped and worked perfectly for cooking our own meals.
The terrace was huge and became one of our favourite parts of the stay. It was perfect for dinners, evening drinks or simply sitting outside and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the view of the sea.
Everything was kept very clean, and the housekeeping was excellent. The property was incredibly quiet, with no disturbances at all. The lady who looked after the house was always available when we needed her, but never intrusive. She was very kind and helpful and responded immediately to even the smallest request.
The garden was beautifully maintained, and we were able to rent bicycles for our whole stay at a reasonable price. The whole process was very easy. There is also an outdoor shower near the entrance, which is useful after the beach. The beach is just across the road, only a few steps away, and you can see the sea from the terrace.
My only suggestion would be to install permanent mosquito nets over the beds. We brought our own, and they were definitely needed, as we were still bitten even when we kept the doors closed and used the air conditioning. Once we put up the mosquito nets, the problem was solved.
The location is also excellent. It is just outside La Passe, close enough to reach shops and restaurants easily by bicycle, but far enough away to be extremely peaceful. It is also perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful beaches in the north of La Digue.
Overall, this was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and worth every penny. It is difficult to imagine finding a better apartment or location on La Digue.
Our stay at Anse Severe Beach Villa on La Digue was a complete success. The accommodation was very clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located – just steps away from the beautiful surroundings. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the organized transfer worked flawlessly. The smooth process, in particular, contributed to a relaxing holiday. It was a little noisy at times in the evenings, but this didn't bother us and didn't detract from our overall very positive impression. We felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this accommodation.
