Very nice, not overcrowded, very friendly people, great accommodation. Wonderful beach. Perfect for relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle. Wonderful buffet. The only thing that bothered me was that the staff had to wave at arrival and departure. This looked very artificial. The resort was great. And there are some lovely hikes to be had.

The beach villa was beautiful, as was the entire island. Many incredible hiking trails... be warned, Grand Barbe is only for very good and experienced hikers... an extreme tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very well organized. The food was excellent... especially at Portobello and Sakura.

The Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is the perfect place for anyone looking for a spectacular Seychelles holiday. The 5-star resort was built in lush, green surroundings, just past the island's beach, and is the biggest hotel on the Seychelles' third-biggest island. This resort would live up to anyone's expectations, in no small part thanks to the pure, untouched nature of this uniquely beautiful island. In fact, Silhouette island is sometimes said to represent the 'essence' of the Seychelles, according to the Seychellois.

Silhouette Island is essentially made up of a single mountain, Mount Dauban, that slopes down into the Indian Ocean. The interior consists of rainforest, and the pure white sandy beach serves as a barrier between the forest and the sea. The resort is located on one of these beaches, which is thankfully large enough to offer guests a great degree of privacy. It is also possible to hike to some of the island's other beaches. Indeed, the island is a hiker's paradise, as the paths around the island are well-paved and signposted, allowing you to discover a number of things you probably won't have seen before, such as the incense-cedar, the short-tailed-jacketed bat, mini chameleons, giant tortoises, and of course, gorgeous beaches. The whole island has been a National Park for more then two decades, and it is this fact that gives the island its truly luxurious atmosphere.

Carrying on this theme of nature is the resort, which has become renowned for its uniquely natural spa concepts. For example, the 'Spa on the Rocks' treatment rooms are built on giant boulders which rise out of the forest. The resort also offer snorkelling trips in the Indian Ocean, as well as traditional local cuisine in one of the various luxury restaurants on offer.
