My boyfriend and I flew from Zurich to the dream islands of the Seychelles. We took a taxi to our hotel and immediately realised just how expensive taxis are. In hindsight, we would probably arrange for the hire car to be delivered directly to the airport, as the taxi journey costs more than hiring a car for a day.
Now for our first accommodation:
This is self-catering accommodation with 4 apartments. We received a friendly welcome. The kitchen is rather sparsely equipped, but it was sufficient for us. The highlight was undoubtedly the view from the terrace.

In the morning, we were woken by the sunshine streaming into our room. The room was cleaned daily, so it offered excellent value for money. The ‘centre’ of Anse Royale is only a few minutes’ walk away, and there is an excellent takeaway there. We would highly recommend hiring a car here. You can also reach the accommodation by bus, but you need to allow plenty of time. A hire car gives you greater flexibility, and we discovered so many wonderful, deserted beaches this way. So be sure to book a hire car as well. We can recommend this accommodation. Our journey continued by ferry to La Digue. The crossing really took its toll on me, as it was very rough, and I was extremely relieved when we finally arrived.
This accommodation was my personal highlight. We received a very warm welcome, and the grounds are incredible. The garden is lovingly maintained and has been designed with great attention to detail. The pool is wonderful and perfect for cooling off. The room is spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom is a dream, and not just for women. We had an enormous balcony with plenty of seating. Bicycles can be hired for an additional €6 per day. Our only criticism would be the occasional lack of privacy. As there are no privacy screens on the balconies, you can see directly into the other guests’ rooms. We felt a little watched when all the other guests were out on their balconies too. The staff were very friendly and took excellent care of us. We felt very comfortable here. We will certainly return.

We then took the ferry back to Praslin, the final island of our trip.
Unlike the others, this accommodation is not self-catering. The grounds are enormous, and there are 2 pools. We received a warm welcome, and everything was shown and explained to us thoroughly. The food in the restaurants is rather expensive, although complimentary tea and coffee are served in the afternoon. The breakfast offered an extensive selection, and we can highly recommend it. The rooms are lovely, and the terrace directly beside the sea is a dream. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The staff are attentive and helpful. We occasionally had problems with the internet, but otherwise we had nothing to complain about. Exploring Praslin by hire car is considerably more pleasant than by bicycle. There are many steep hills that are almost impossible to manage by bike. We can highly recommend Ryan’s guided tour. The hotel offers this service free of charge, so be sure to take advantage of it. We received plenty of useful information, and the view from the highest point of the hike was breathtaking. This hotel also exceeded our expectations.
To sum up, we were very satisfied with all our accommodation and would recommend every place we stayed. Hiring a car is highly recommended, although returning it did not always go as planned, and we sometimes had to wait for 3 hours.

It is also very important to take plenty of time when choosing your hotels. As the sun sets early, you spend a considerable amount of time at your accommodation. You are sure to find the right place on the SeyVillas website.
We can wholeheartedly recommend SeyVillas. We received excellent support throughout our trip, and everything went smoothly. All our questions and concerns were taken seriously and answered quickly. A huge thank you to SeyVillas for this service!!
