Both the SY Sea Star and SY Sea Bird are modern, custom-built yachts with spacious accommodation and refined amenities. Allow the peaceful harmony of the Seychelles to enchant you over this one-week sailing trip, without compromising on comfort and service!
Itinerary for the travel period from May to October:
Day 1: Mahé
The cruise begins at 10.30 at the Inter Island Quay on Mahé. After a short briefing and a first meet-and-greet with the other travellers, the crew sets sail at 12.30. At this point, you will have a whole week of adventures and relaxation to look forward to. In the afternoon, you will reach the beautiful Beau Vallon bay, where you can choose between snorkelling and scuba diving, before letting the first day fade our with a Creole barbeque in the evening.
Day 2: Mahé - Baie Ternay Marine Park
Discover the breathtaking underwater world of the Seychelles during your scuba dive in the Baie Ternay Merine Park. This park is a protected nature reserve, and is therefore home to a wide variety of colourful fish species. In the afternoon, you will set sail for Beau Vallon Bay to watch a particularly spectacular sunset, bathing the sky in beautiful colours.
Day 3: Mahé - Cousin
Early morning sail towards Cousin island off the coast of Praslin, for morning visit of this strictly protected nature reserve, famed for its sea bird colonies and also as a sanctuary for Seychelles' rare endemic land birds and other native species. After lunch we sail to Praslin, for an afternoon of diving and water-sports.
Day 4: Cousin - Praslin
Today, you will explore the Vallée de Mai UNESCO World Heritage Site, which offers countless indigenous plant species and adventurous hiking trails to explore. During these walks, you will have the chance to catch sight of the ocean over and over again! Returning onboard for afternoon opportunities to dive, snorkel or enjoy other water sports.
Day 5: Praslin - La Digue
Discover the picturesque island of Praslin, famous for Anse Source d'Argent beach, which is framed by granite boulder formations. Discover the island by bike or on-foot, and let its sublime nature wash over you.
Day 6: La Digue - Curieuse - St Pierre Island - Praslin
After arriving at Curieuse Island, an almost completely uninhabited corner of the Seychelles, you will have the chance to explore the beautiful mangrove forest and admire the native giant tortoises that stroll along the beach here. After a barbeque, you will have the opportunity to relax or try our a new watersports. In the afternoon, sail towards the tiny, picturesque granite outcrop of St. Pierre. It is an excellent site for snorkelling and diving. Sail to Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches of Praslin, and arguably, all of Seychelles - a perfect place for water-sports.beaches.
Day 7: Praslin - Ste Anne Marine National Park - Mahé
After breakfast the vessel begins its sail towards Mahé, anchoring in the Ste Anne Marine National Park with its cluster of lush granite islands for an afternoon of water-sports and diving. Overnight at Ile Seche.
Day 8: Arrival on Mahé at 08.30

Price includes: Overnight accommodation for the entire cruise, full board meals, afternoon tee/coffee/cake, crew of 9, equipment for snorkelling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and fishing.
Price does NOT include: Drinks, diving/diving equipment, conservation fees (see Notes section below for details), transfers, sustainability levy for tourism.

If booking a Double cabin for 1 adult and 2 children or 2 adults and 1 child, you will be accommodated in a Triple cabin.
An additional conservation fee is to be paid, which includes landing and entrance fees for island visits and nature reserves (including a guided tour in Vallee de Mai) as well as various national marine parks, according to the cruise itinerary (Bicycle Rental and entrance fee to L'Union Estate are not included, as this is optional for clients during their island visit to La Digue.)
The conservation fee as per below is to be paid in cash or Visa/MasterCard on arrival:

The choice of boat depends on the number of passengers booked onto the voyage.
Please note that the itinerary is subject to change, depending on wind and weather conditions. Furthermore, in case of adverse weather conditions, it might not be possible to hoist the sail. Instead, the engine will be used. All decisions are made at the captain’s discretion.
Passengers must hold a valid travel and medical insurance that includes diving (in case of divers).
Please send a copy of your passport to SeyVillas until 4 weeks prior to arrival the latest, as this is required by the port authorities.
