The location is fantastic; restaurants, shops, the beach (Beau Vallon), etc., are all within easy walking distance. The apartment and garden are very well-maintained, and the balcony offers a superb view. The house has its own sun loungers, which are stored near the beach. Unfortunately, equipment from a nearby restaurant is noisy, and cooking smells are often unpleasantly overpowering. I found this bothersome. For €50, we were allowed to check out five hours later, which I thought was reasonable. The lady of the house was very friendly and helpful.

We went to the beach to lie on the loungers and were able to get to our room at 12:20 PM. We had an apartment with a mountain view; it was clean and quiet with good amenities. The only thing is that the balcony overlooks the neighboring buildings, but it was fine on the second floor. The owner is really nice; we often chatted and got tips from her.

At 6 a.m. there was a power outage and the alarm system went off with a loud and shrill sound. This continued for 1.5 hours until management was finally able to take the system out of operation. As an apology, they bought us a morning meal.
