La Modestie is a villa, located in Amitié on Praslin, an island that is home to the famous Vallée de Mai UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the endemic Coco de Mer palm tree. You can reach the island in just fifteen minutes by plane from the international airport on Mahé, or by ferry. The accommodation is only 20 minutes' walk from the airport. On Praslin, you can experience the stunning nature of the Seychelles up-close, allowing you to forget your everyday life for a while and immerse yourself completely in the Seychelles' enchanting atmosphere. The wonderful colours, scents, and scenery will cast a spell on you. Surrounded by lush vegetation and a tranquil, inviting atmosphere, you can enjoy a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this accommodation. For your convenience, friendly staff are available around the clock, helping you to have a peaceful, fulfilling holiday. This guesthouse is an ideal starting point for individuals, families, couples, and small groups of travellers.

The property consists of three 50m² apartments on the ground floor, housed in charming villa surroundings. They are fully-equipped with air-conditioning, kitchenette, internet access, a bathroom with shower, a nice living area, a sofa bed, and a private veranda which overlooks the garden. The seven superior rooms each measure 35m², and can be found on the ground or first floor of the estate. These come equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom with shower, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, desk, wardrobe, cosy seating area. There is also the possibility here to connect certain rooms to each other through inter-connecting doors. All of the units are decorated in a modern fashion, and their facilities compare favourably to European standards. The tasteful furniture and the bright colours create a particularly welcoming atmosphere, allowing you to relax indoors as much as you wish, always in complete comfort. Breakfast is served in the dining room that overlooks the beautiful garden.

Praslin, the second-largest of the Seychelles islands, is inhabited by a multicultural population of around 5000 residents, and offers a variety of unique fauna and flora species. The best way to explore this picturesque island is by rental car, but it is also possible to get around by bike or by bus. The La Modestie villa is located within walking distance of the white sandy beach, as well as of Grand Anse shopping centre, a cinema, banks, discos, and restaurants. Be sure to also visit the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, while the island's other beaches, such as Anse Possession or Anse Takamaka, are also well-worth a visit.
