The charming Bambous River Lodge, which was newly-built in 2016, offers up a fantastic location near to the famous beach of Beau Vallon, and on the banks of the Bambous River in Bel Ombre in the north of Mahé. The accommodation is rounded off with close proximity to another beach, Anse Marie Laure.

Description:
The Bambous River Lodge in Bel Ombre on Mahé’s northern coastline has many things going for it, not least its fantastic location. The quaint estate, that was finished in 2016, lies on the banks of the Bambous river, and at the foot of Mount Simpson. Furthermore, the world-famous beach of Beau Vallon, as well as nearby beach Anse Marie Laure, both neighbour the estate. Beau Vallon especially offers white sand and turquoise water for your stay.
The modern accommodation serves up seven spacious luxury holiday apartments, as well as a pool, imbedded in a lawn garden. The total grounds of the accommodation take up around 2000 square metres, and this is all located in an elevated position atop a platform, decorated with natural stones. Appealing terraces and balconies ensure that guests have a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy, where they can also enjoy a beautiful ocean view. In fact, in the distance, it is even possible to see Silhouette Island. There is also a gazebo near the pool where holidaymakers can sit and sip a cool drink, while in the evenings guests can make use of the grill to enjoy some local delicacies while listening to the small stream that trickles past nearby.
The accommodation consists of spacious, comfortable living units, which are ideal for different purposes. For example, two adults can stay in one of the four studios, which are 54 square metres and consist of a bedroom, bathroom, and a fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering. The rooms also lead onto a private, furnished terrace. Meanwhile, the two apartments on the upper floor offer a little more space. In fact, here it is possible for up to four guests to sleep in two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with twin beds), as well as make use of the bathroom, kitchen, and balcony, for a combined living space of 110 square metres. Or, if you are really looking for the utmost privacy and those few extra square metres for yourself, the free-standing villa is the choice for you. Just like the apartments, it is appropriate for four guests in two bedrooms, while there is also a bathroom, kitchen, and lush terrace area spread out over 124 square metres. Each square metre of each living unit shares one thing: an aesthetically-pleasing, very well-chosen set of installations and fittings, in which bright colours dominate, with more discrete details coming through in a subtle manner. Green and grey tones are a common theme throughout the interior of the property, as well as the exterior areas. In the bedrooms, you can enjoy the cooling breeze of air-conditioning or a ceiling fan, allowing you to enjoy a cool, comfortable temperature despite the warmth outside. The kitchens, meanwhile, offer modern devices and ensure that you can easily cater for yourselves, allowing you to plan your day around yourself and not around any meal plans.
It only takes around 15 minutes to reach the famous Beau Vallon Beach by foot. Within 20km of the villa, you can also find North East Point Beach, as well as Grand Anse and Barbarons Beach. We also recommend an excursion to the small, colourful capital of Victoria. This can be reached in just quarter of an hour or so. Meanwhile, the Seychelles International Airport is about 13km away. Even though some restaurants and shops can be reached by foot, a rental car is is recommended for greater flexibility in the Beau Vallon area.
