Description:
This holiday estate awaits in the west if La Digue and offers numerous highlights such as classic amenities and beautiful design, which combines a Creole rustic feel with a laid-back feeling; there is also a communal garden with plenty of space to enjoy during your stay, as well as the fact that the accommodation is located just five minutes from one of the most picturesque beaches anywhere in the Seychelles. How does that sound? With its palm trees, exotic flowers, and lush grass - which is ideal for any children travelling with you - this is somewhat of an oasis in La Passe. This town is one of the main excursion hotspots on La Digue, making the La Passe Holiday Villa a kind of sanctuary and starting point for a number of different activities. In the evenings, you can also enjoy wonderful barbecues at the accommodation itself, all you need to provide is the groceries! Finally, you can enjoy a delicious glass of wine in the evening and spend some time on your veranda in one of the relaxing chairs that can be found there.
If you’d rather eat inside, there is also a fully-equipped kitchen that you can use throughout your stay, which is perfect for budding chefs. The accommodation is also home to cosy seating on a private veranda, a stunning view of the evergreen garden of the estate, and plenty of freedom for that ultimate island holiday feeling. The spacious bedrooms offer air-conditioning and ceiling fans to cool the air, allowing you to relax and reflect on your day’s experiences in a typical Creole atmosphere. If you want to round off your day with a relaxing shower then the comfortable bathroom is ideal for this, offering warm colours and plenty of space.
The island of La Digue is around 6 km long and 3 km wide, making it the fourth-largest Seychelles island. La Digue can be found around 50 km north of the main island of Mahé. The island’s coast consists of 17 different beaches, most of which are protected from the open ocean by a coral reef. The beautiful beach of Anse la Réunion is also ideal for snorkelling, and lies just 200 metres away from the accommodation, offering natural beauty and plenty of space. All of the island’s other beaches, such as the famous Anse Source d’Argent or the stunning Grand Anse can be reached by bike from the guesthouse. La Passe itself is an idyllic harbour town that is ideal for exploring on-foot to your heart’s content. Restaurants, cafés, and clubs can all be found there. Finally, you can also depart on boat trips from here or take the ferry over to Praslin, the second-largest Seychelles island, in around 15 minutes.

Compared to our other accommodations, this was not a highlight. The washing machine was dirty, windows were damaged and the back garden was untidy. The drain was blocked (could be solved). Communication with the guests was rather passive. The "reception" was in a different location (>500 m), which was not clearly communicated at reception. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
Nice, small and clean apartments, well furnished and in our opinion very good value for money. Nice wooden elements, good bed, nice bathroom with double shower, nice lighting, everything very appealing. Two takeaways and a bakery (good baguettes) are only a 3-minute walk away, the harbor about 5 and a good supermarket just under 10 minutes. Small criticisms: The air conditioning provides sufficient cooling, but is at its limit in the warmest and most humid period (at the end of March we had 34 degrees during the day and 28 degrees at night). Some of the cooking utensils were only in mediocre condition, but we enjoyed the local cuisine more anyway. We would book this accommodation again. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
