This well-maintained apartment is located in a central location in Beau Vallon in the north of the largest Seychelles island, Mahé. From your balcony you can enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding tropical landscape, and right underneath the balcony you will find a small garden which also has a terrace where you can relax. As a self-catering property, you have the choice here between numerous restaurants, pizzerias, takeaways, and shops that you can reach on-foot, along with one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on Mahé, Beau Vallon Beach. Just 15 minutes’ walk separates you from this stunning beach, which is home to cafés and restaurants, as well as watersports and excursion opportunities.
Feel right at home thanks to this lovingly-arranged apartment that will serve as your home base as you discover the island. The tropical timbers used to make many of the interior create a cosy, authentic atmosphere. Pull the curtains of your bedroom back in the mornings and head right out onto the balcony with its original chairs and table where you can enjoy breakfast in peace and quiet. You can prepare your food in the fully-equipped kitchen, which also has a small counter where you can sit.
The beautiful beach of Beau Vallon is a must-see for anyone during their stay, and the town that shares its name with the beach contains a wide range of bars, restaurants, and small shops, all of which you can reach on-foot. If you book a rental car, you can use it to visit the Mont Fleuri Botanical Gardens in the capital, Victoria, which is just 5 km away. Here, you can discover Seychelles-typical Coco de Mer palm trees, as well as encounter Aldabra giant tortoises and endemic flying foxes. Wander through the streets of Victoria too and visit the Victoria Clock Tower, perhaps the most well-known landmark in the country. Spacious, clean, well equipped, welcoming apartment. The small terrace from which you can see all of Beau Vallon is wonderful! On our arrival there was some paving work in progress on the steep slope leading up to the apartment. With the car then it went on well. Tama is a very welcoming and helpful lady. We left a piece of our hearts in that house! Translation (IT): GoogleTranslate
The stay in Tama"s Holiday Apartments was nice, but the dogs barking in the neighborhood in the evening was very annoying. The landlady was very friendly and always helpful, even kept our suitcases for us when we left and we were able to spend a morning on the beach before our departure in the evening Spend time and take a shower before we were picked up as unfortunately our room was occupied again. The apartment was a good size, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The view from the balcony over the city and the bay was very nice. The wooden chairs were however on the balcony very hard and uncomfortable. Another seat or lounger would have been nice. Unfortunately, it was too sunny for breakfast on the balcony and therefore too hot, so we always ate in the kitchen at the counter. A fan would have been helpful here since it was very hot here too and there was air conditioning only in the bedroom. The location of the accommodation is slightly above and very steep to access I. There are plenty of supermarkets within walking distance and also some mediocre takeaways as well as the bus stop. But it's a few minutes' walk to the beach. The beach itself is large and there is a lot going on and a lot to do. Very noisy and crowded on weekend evenings. You can get to Victoria quickly by bus. There is also a well-developed bus network, but if you want to see more of the island and want to get there quickly and independently, you definitely need a rental car here. For us it was unfortunately the wrong corner. Too hectic, noisy and crowded and too touristy. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
