Description:
This small, white holiday house is located in a calm neighbourhood, around 10 minutes’ walk from the paradise of Grand Anse beach. This well-maintained property welcomes its guests into an idyllic atmosphere and is the ideal choice for anyone wanting to discover the authentic Seychelles. Amidst a tropical garden with plenty of lush greenery, here you can enjoy a harmonious holiday feeling. Walk up a few steps onto the shady veranda and through the inviting entrance door. You can also spend time in the garden right outside the door, enjoying the tropical vegetation of the Seychelles. On the back terrace, you can find a small dining area where you can enjoy evening meals throughout your holiday. It is also ideal for barbeques, allowing you to enjoy typical local cuisine during your stay.
The quaint property offers a cosy, inviting bedroom. This property is ideal for small families, couples, or friends travelling together, who want to enjoy an individual Seychelles holiday that is also affordable. The spacious, warm bathroom also has a practical washtable. Warm wooden elements in the bathroom, kitchen and interior lend the guesthouse a natural ambience, while the fully-equipped kitchen is ideal for self-catering. Perhaps you will prepare yourself a typical Creole curry and enjoy dinner in the open air on the veranda. The rustic living room invites you to spend an evening relaxing; here you can sit back and think of the next day in this holiday paradise.
Although Praslin is the second-largest of the Seychelles’ islands, this paradise offers its own charm and breathtaking nature. Numerous bays with powdery-white sand and crystal-clear water are just one side of that. We recommend booking a rental car so that you can explore the rest of the island and make use of the parking space at the accommodation. The jungle park of the Vallée de Mai, part of the UNESCO World Heritage, is well worth a visit. Here, the breathtaking Coco de Mer palm tree can be found, which is a real landmark of the Seychelles. The lush, tropical botanical garden is home to rare bird species, while the neighbouring islands of Curieuse and St. Pierre are ideal for an unforgettable day trip. Perfect sandy bays, impressive palm trees, and wonderful lagoons will linger in your memory for a long time.

A beautiful guesthouse on Grand Anse in the west of Praslin. Very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for self-sufficiency. What particularly stands out is the hostess, Annabel, who provided us with fresh fruit from her garden every day, gave us lots of information and tips about our stay and even looked up the departure times of the public buses for us. She was always available via WhatsApp and just plain friendly and helpful. A big thank you for that. If you want to stay in an authentic area on Praslin, a bit away from the other tourist hotspots on the east coast of the Cote d'Or, you've come to the right place. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
We experienced the Destination Self Catering Praslin accommodation during our stay in October 2020 as a rural, idyllic, quiet accommodation away from the tourist crowds. We really liked the location not far from Grand Anse Beach. Although the accommodation is one of the last houses on a cul-de-sac, the town center with shops can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. On the day of arrival, Annabel gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything we needed. We appreciated the typical Seychelles architecture in the house. We found the open living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen and the very spacious veranda very appealing. Everything was very well maintained and very clean. The house itself stands on a large garden plot with lemon and guava trees. During our stay we were looked after in an exemplary manner by our hostess. She gave valuable tips for sightseeing and activities in the area and organized for us the registrations and permits required for our activities during Corona times (e.g. Vallée du Mai, visit by Anse Georgette, etc.). We will not forget the pleasant conversations with her, her hospitality and the little treats that greeted us on the terrace. Since we were in the Seychelles during the corona crisis in October, we were always in close contact with Annabel before and during our stay. Due to the requirements of the health authorities, she came briefly every morning to check the temperature. It was only a matter of five minutes and our privacy was always completely preserved. We felt very safe here. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
