The rooms are located in the main building. The kitchen and living room on the ground floor are all shared by the guests. The large living room joins onto an open-plan kitchen that is also fully-equipped with everything that self-catering holidaymakers could wish for. Creole-style furniture and cushions with exotic, colourful designs lend the rooms some Seychelles island flair, while lovingly-chosen details such as small tables and gold-rimmed mirrors round out the interior nicely. The large, open-plan kitchen offers wooden elements and a rustically-painted breakfast bar for you to enjoy. If you want to enjoy a cold drink at the end of a long day then the double-doored fridge is the highlight of the kitchen. The bedrooms on the upper floor are airy and comfortable, with kingsize beds and small, cosy seating arrangements, as well as modern bathrooms with plenty of space for your toiletries. For those who prefer to enjoy their privacy, the air-conditioned apartments in the separate annex building are just right. They are modernly furnished and have a private kitchen.
Those who want to relax and feel laid back in paradise are right at home on La Digue. This small Seychelles island offers plenty of nature and welcomes its guests with breathtaking, untouched surroundings. La Digue’s beautiful beaches are some of the whitest in the world, with crystal-clear water making them among the world’s most beautiful beach locations. The typical granite boulders are another real trademark of La Digue and ideal for taking stunning photos. The main means of transportation on the island is bike, which allows you to discover this small natural paradise at your own pace. Anyone who is looking for something besides sunbathing, swimming, or snorkelling, should take a trip to the picturesque harbour town of La Passe. The apartment complex is set in a beautiful garden and the apartment was newly renovated. The owner, her son and the manager were very friendly and approachable. We were often provided with fresh fruit from the garden and breadfruit treats. Everything was very calm and relaxed and the air conditioning worked very well. However, the apartment has some disadvantages: the towels were only changed irregularly, the beach towels not at all in 8 days, which is unpleasant if you use them every day. The wifi works very badly. In addition, in the middle of our stay, the large main house was moved into by a family. As a result, there was sometimes no water in the afternoon / evening in particular, since the water pressure was probably not sufficient for so many guests. Furthermore, the refrigerator in the 1-room apartment was quite noisy and disturbed sleeping. In addition, the apartment and the terrace have a very smooth floor. As a result, it becomes extremely slippery when wet. On the last day, I slipped on a step on the terrace due to the rain that couldn't be seen and sprained my wrist. I also have painful bruises on my back. Luckily nothing more happened. So we cannot recommend the apartment. Another rather unpleasant experience was the manager's bike rental. He offered to take care of bikes and put pressure on us from the start to rent the bikes from him. We finally agreed and he was very keen that we pay directly (even wanted to come with us to the ATM, etc.). Since the price of the bikes was average, we trusted him at this point. However, the bikes we got were in extremely poor condition. The saddle on my husband's bike could not be fixed and at the end of the first day he had a flat tire. So we had to wait for the repair the next day. The brakes on my bike squeaked extremely loudly and were barely functional. The chain fell off during a bike ride. In addition, the chain was not covered, which meant that on the evening of the 2nd day I suffered a painful cut on my right lower leg, which was bleeding profusely. Thanks to an extensive first-aid kit, I was able to treat myself. When the bike also had a flat tire on the third day, I got a new bike with a time delay, which was in hardly better condition, but was sufficient for the rest of the time. So the manager's bike rental is not recommended! The manager was friendly and nice, but unreliable. Check-out was not at 10, but at 12:30. When we got our suitcases at 4, no one was even there to say goodbye. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
