Description:
A beautiful, tropical nature paradise on a 12,000 square metre plot of land awaits surrounding the Secret Villa guesthouse. This property is located on a green hill close to Anse Patates on La Digue. From the spacious terrace, you can see numerous treetops swaying in the wind, all the while enjoying heavenly peace and quiet, as well as an unforgettable view of the nearby Indian Ocean, the neighbouring island of Felicité, and the impressive north coast of La Digue. Just five exclusive rooms are on offer here, three on the ground floor and two on the upper floor, ensuring utmost privacy during your stay.
The property itself is uniquely presented inside as well. Furniture, walls, floors and ceilings: everything is made from tropical woods and blends into nature nicely. There are no windows, but rather you feel right at home with the jungle here, with the soft breeze blowing into the open rooms, ensuring comfortable, natural cooling without air conditioning. The highlight is the large, open bedroom on the upper floor which offers plenty of space to relax. The large beds offer views of the open air, while the bathroom with shower or bathtub is en-suite. Finally, enjoy delicious food on-site at the restaurant or bar on the ground floor.
The Secret Villa is so beautiful that you might want to spend all your time there. But it’s worth going a little further afield and undertaking an excursion or two. The beautiful beach of Anse Severe is ideal for swimming and snorkelling, and is located just 1.8 km away. From there you can enjoy impressive sunset views of the neighbouring island of Praslin. Meanwhile, a visit to the l’Union Estate Park is also well worth it. This plantation is located around 4.8 km away and is home to giant tortoises.
Transfer Details:
The Transfer to and from the jetty is included, the property operate a dedicated 4x4 Transfer due to the Villa being situated on one of the highest point of the island.

The parents/relatives have a duty of supervision. Secret Villa shall not have any direct liability should younger guests escape from their parent’s monitor and have accident within the property due to negligence.
The accommodation offers 1 free aperitif every day, as well as 1 free glass of wine per guest (or soft drink for children).
Please note that the accommodation is located on a steep cliff.
The accommodation cannot be reached by bike. Bikes can be left on the driveway.

I don't think there is a better or more beautiful location on Lager Digue. The food was delicious and plentiful, always Creole. A great experience. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. The rooms are open and sometimes the hot water doesn't work. But it's a very special, eccentric location. No one on Lager Digue can compete with this specialness. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
Unfortunately, the stay was not as expected. The floor was dirty when we arrived and we cleaned the toilet first, not a nice way to start. The open suitcases were lying on the floor among dead vermin and were not removed for days. Due to 100% humidity and stagnant air, sleeping at night was only possible with the loud fan on the highest setting. This accommodation had been one of my favorites beforehand. The steep climb to get there was known and was not a problem. We met people who left the very next day. The owner rules like a king with his six or seven employees, who sleep in degrading conditions.
