There you will find a small fish, fruit, and vegetable market as well as several local shops, a large supermarket, a pharmacy and a bank.

The Hilltop Villa Bougainville is perfect for couples, friends and families who want to enjoy a quiet holiday on Mahé. The great hillside location offers an absolutely beautiful view of the nearby sea, which stretches behind the towering tropical greenery. On the 2.500m² plot surrounding the house, you can take short walks and discover the lush plants and home-grown fruit and vegetables. Perhaps this will inspire an evening barbecue on your balcony where you can relax on the comfortable furniture and enjoy a wonderful view. The village of Anse Royale is only 5 minutes away; there you will find, among other things, a small fish, fruit and vegetable market, several local shops and an international supermarket. The inviting white beaches on the other side of the coastal road are also just a few minutes away. What’s more, there are also two tortoises that live on the property.
The spacious interior of the villa is sure to impress with its stylish ambience. The many wooden features create a sense of both cosiness and elegance - feel at home in this beautifully furnished living space. You can open the floor-to-ceiling windows to bring a sense of the outdoors into your living area. Self-catering is easy thanks to the fully equipped kitchen - the dining area is located adjacent to the balcony. Three cosy bedrooms - one of them with access to the balcony and a handy outdoor shower - are wonderful oases of peace for relaxing holiday nights. Two of the bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom, including the room under the roof, which is accessible via a pretty wooden staircase.
This dreamlike location makes it tempting to spend your time in this home away from home and simply unwind. But several beautiful beaches in the south, such as Anse Intendance or Anse Takamaka, are within easy reach and are waiting to be explored. The stretches of sea are also ideal for snorkelling and diving, as well as fishing and hiking. The airport of Mahé is about 13km away and Victoria approx. 22km away - the capital of the island is enchanting with its lively charm and many sights – definitely worth a visit!

The Hilltop Villa is located in the south of the island at the end of the road with a beautiful view of the sea. The large apartment was of high quality and tastefully furnished and well equipped, but poorly maintained: dirty knives in the drawer, a dirty ashtray in the cupboard next to plates and cups, moldy food, dirty seat cushions on the terrace. A toaster was missing, but was brought the next day. Towels were in short supply and there were no kitchen towels at all. Our request for fresh towels was not responded to for two days and a day later there was a large basket of laundry and towels in the hallway. The house had WiFi and air conditioning in the bedroom.
