Guest Reviews of the Accommodation
Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. We rented this apartment through Seyvillas. It started with Seyvillas failing to forward the change of booking, including our earlier arrival time, to the owner (Miranda). Luckily, Miranda's son lived next door and was able to contact her. He was also very friendly and gave us something to drink. As a result, we stood there for an hour and a half before we could even move into the apartment, since no preparations had been made. Once inside, we discovered that the apartment was very different from the photos. The entire place is quite run-down. The mattress, without a sheet, was quite dirty and saggy, as was the bed itself. The curtain rods were no longer attached to the wall and had fallen out. There weren't even bedside lamps, and there was hardly any room for our suitcases. The bathroom was just as appalling. There was standing water in the shower that wouldn't drain. When we asked about it, we were told that someone would come later and take care of it. Thankfully, this did happen. Furthermore, the shower was a construction site. The shower screen falls off if you're not careful and is partially cracked, the towel racks are hanging precariously and could fall off the wall, and the hot water in the shower didn't work either. The landlady, Miranda, was very friendly. The apartment was swept daily, the bed was made, and we were able to rent a bicycle from her for a reasonable 100 SCRP per night (approx. €5/€6). Nevertheless, I would never rent this accommodation again and wouldn't recommend it unless it's renovated. €100 per night is definitely far too much money for the condition of the place. Finally, we would like to sincerely thank Miranda and her son for their kindness. It made our stay more enjoyable :)
Translation (DE)Never stayed there...
Translation (FR)The location is ideal, right on the way to Anse Grand, Petit, and Cocco. It's quiet and situated so that there was always shade on one side of the terrace. The furnishings are simple and a mix of styles, but functionally adequate and everything was clean. My only complaint is that the double mattress was a bit worn. The room was swept and the beds made daily. We received fresh towels every five days, which was sufficient for us since we had our own hammam towels for the beach. The air conditioning and fans worked perfectly. Whenever we had questions or needed anything, someone was there – whether it was Miranda, her parents, or her son. Miranda is particularly friendly and helpful. If you're not looking for luxury, I highly recommend it.
