Activities and specials:
- Here, guests can enjoy absolute harmony and tropical nature. In the heat of the tropics, the breeze carried across the sea provides welcome refreshment.
- The Bois d'Amour collaborates with a small bike rental. For just €8/day, you can borrow a bike, the preferred mode of transport on La Digue. This way, you can easily reach all of the island's beaches.
- The location of the Bois d'Amour at the heart of the island makes it an excellent starting point for various hikes across the island.
- The owners organise various fishing, snorkelling and diving tours as well as hiking and excursions for their clients (fees apply).
Description:
When the SeyVillas team first discovered the Bois d'Amour, we were truly taken aback by the concept that the German-Seychellois owners chose for their wooden villa estate. We could try to write our own description of the lodge, but it would struggle to do it justice. Therefore, we will cite a few words from the owners themselves, and let the pictures speak for the rest.

The high, wooden walls of the hotel allow the sea breeze to drift through the house, with the air circulation under the house and through the rooms working as a natural air-conditioner. Fans help the air to circulate around the rooms, and solar panels on the roofs of the Kokoleo and Kokorouz produce hot water.

The Bois DÁmour is characterized by its very good location (almost in the middle of the island) and allows you to easily reach all the sights by bike. We booked the Chalet Kokover for 4 people. It should be noted that the air conditioning is provided by the open construction, such as wooden shutters with slats. Unfortunately, this makes it noisier at night (roosters crowing, dogs barking). The chalet was very clean and was cleaned every day. We were able to rent bikes as soon as we arrived (EUR 7.00 per bike per day) and explore the island straight away. A beautiful accommodation in Creole style, located in a great garden. The terrace is very cozy, we really enjoyed the birdsong and the great view of the forest. You can watch the fruit bats really well. Everything was clean and well equipped. We didn't miss the air conditioning, the installed fans were completely sufficient. Amanda was very warm and caring and asked every day if everything was OK. When we arrived, she organized bicycles for us, which were available to us within 30 minutes.
