The Beau Bamboo Apartments are situated in a prime location at the north end of the magnificent Beau Vallon beach, which ranks among the most famous beaches in the world. Beau Vallon bay is also one of the widest, longest bays in the Seychelles, making it ideal for watersports such as surfing and water-skiing. This buzz of activity has led to a small, bustling town springing up around the beach, including several excellent bars and restaurants, as well as shops for your day-to-day needs. For anyone staying on Mahé without a car, this is the ideal location, as everything you need can be found within walking distance.
Despite this, the beach manages to remain uncrowded, even during high season. The sand here slopes gently into the sea, and is covered with fine sand and natural vegetation. On clear days, the view stretches from the beach across to the third-largest of the Seychelles' islands, Silhouette. The sun also sets over the ocean here, bathing the sea in a deep red, which is truly an unforgettable sight.
The modern apartments are all similarly-equipped, and offer a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a spacious veranda. Both 70 m² apartments are also air-conditioned, and offer a ceiling fan, radio, and safe. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery and crockery, glasses, pots and pans, two electric cooking hobs, and a large fridge-freezer. Meanwhile, the terrace offers two stools, a separate dining table, and outdoor furniture, allowing you to relax in the shade.
The German owners of this modern guesthouse offer a very warm welcome, and can help with any questions you might have about your Seychelles holiday. You can also rent a car from them for €30-€40 per day.

Very clean and spacious apartment a few meters from the beach and with a view of the beach. Friendly and helpful support from the German owner. Everything is in tip top order and lavishly decorated with bamboo and wooden objects. There are also a lot of mosquito bites here, probably because of the frequent rains. Very good location at the end of the long beach and the place could be reached in 5 minutes via the beach. Depending on the time of day, the car traffic was a bit loud and unfortunately there are no sidewalks on the street. The beds in the second bedroom (living room) were a bit narrow and uncomfortable. The location of the guest house is great, both in terms of the beach, basic food supplies and restaurants. The apartments are in good condition and clean. The lady who came to clean every day was very nice, as was the gardener. The only negative point was the owners. They gave us a superficially friendly welcome, but otherwise the two of them (especially the landlady) were very inflexible and often negative. We had ordered the apartments with breakfast and thought that we would either be brought the food or at least asked for it. We occupied 3 rooms (5 adults) and always had to agree on a time (so it was not possible for e.g. 2 people to sleep longer...). We were also offered exactly the same thing throughout the week, without any variety, and when we asked for juice and milk we were only offered it hesitantly (juice) or not at all (milk). But what bothered us most was that the owners didn't give their guests much privacy. The owner was present most of the time at breakfast, and even if you were briefly in the room during the day to get something or to rest, you often met one of the two, even though they told us that they lived 3 km away , we were the only guests and apart from breakfast we were self-catering! Furthermore, the homeowner confronted us rather forcefully because one of us had once screamed briefly and then cried for a few minutes because she was terribly frightened by a spider.
