A Dream Holiday in the Seychelles with SeyVillas

My girlfriend and I spent an unforgettable holiday in the Seychelles in October. Thanks to SeyVillas, everything ran smoothly, from the planning to the transfers, and we were able to enjoy the beauty of these islands to the full. Our 11-day trip took us to Praslin, Mahé and La Digue, where we experienced gorgeous beaches, breathtaking scenery and warm hospitality.

Praslin

After arriving on Praslin, the second-largest island in the Seychelles, we were collected by our transfer as planned. Even the journey to our hotel offered breathtaking views of the lush vegetation and turquoise sea – a taste of what was still to come. On our first day, we visited the famous Anse Lazio . We were overwhelmed by the beauty of this place from the moment we saw it: the fine white sand, imposing granite rocks and crystal-clear water looked like something from a picture book. We could not stop marvelling at it all and spent the day swimming in the warm water and enjoying our surroundings. It felt as though we had arrived in paradise.

Exploring more of Praslin

On the second day, we headed to Anse Georgette, which proved to be every bit as picturesque as Anse Lazio .
As this beach can only be reached on foot or by golf buggy, it felt like an exclusive and particularly peaceful place. The water was crystal clear, and the secluded setting made our visit another highlight of the trip. On the third day, we visited the famous Vallée de Mai. This nature reserve, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was simply breathtaking. The lush vegetation and exotic sounds of the jungle made it a unique experience. Seeing the coco de mer, one of the largest and rarest coconuts in the world, was particularly fascinating. The valley is a must for anyone who wants to experience the natural beauty of the Seychelles at close quarters.

Day trip to La Digue

Another highlight of our trip was a day trip to La Digue. SeyVillas had organised everything perfectly, and the ferry got us to the picturesque island right on time. On La Digue, we hired bicycles and explored the island on our own. The charm of this small, peaceful island, with its traditional wooden houses and palm-lined roads, is incomparable. We particularly loved the opportunity to see giant tortoises in their natural surroundings – an unforgettable experience! Of course, we could not miss a visit to Anse Source d'Argent , one of the most famous beaches in the world. The granite rocks framing the turquoise water created a unique backdrop for our relaxing day on La Digue.

Relaxing on Mahé

After a few more wonderful days on Praslin, we continued our journey to Mahé, the largest island in the Seychelles. Here too, we enjoyed the pristine beaches, particularly Anse Soleil, which stood out for its wonderful marine life. We also spent a day in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. Mahé offers plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring, and we were captivated by its diverse landscapes and spectacular views of the surrounding islands.

Conclusion

Our holiday in the Seychelles was simply wonderful, and we would like to thank SeyVillas for the excellent organisation. The transfers between the islands ran smoothly and were always punctual, allowing us to focus entirely on experiencing and enjoying these paradise islands. Each place had its own unique charm, and we would highly recommend discovering the diversity of the Seychelles – from Praslin’s unspoilt beaches and the unspoilt character of La Digue to Mahé’s vibrant natural scenery. We will remember this trip for a long time and are already looking forward to returning!
