Experience Mahé from a bird’s eye view on a 15 minute helicopter flight over the southern part of the island. Flights depart from the Zil Air Base or other licensed helipads on Mahé (at an additional charge) and offer an impressive way to discover the island from above. The flight over southern Mahé captivates with its untouched nature and particularly varied coastal scenery. After take off, you will first fly over the airport before following the coastline towards the southwest. Passing the idyllic beaches of Anse Soleil and Petite Anse, a panorama of powder white sandy beaches and deep blue ocean unfolds. The route continues along the coast to the well known bays of Anse Takamaka and Anse Intendance, famous for their wild beauty and powerful waves. A special highlight is the flyover of the southernmost point of Mahé, where the island reveals its more rugged and untouched side. On the return journey, you can enjoy further impressive views of Anse Royale and the wide bay of Anse Aux Pins.
