Whether you depart from Mahé or Praslin, the island's ferries will take you across the crystalline waters to La Digue, where you will experience some of the most memorable and authentic moments of island life. You can spend a whole day exploring La Digue at your own pace and without a guide. Jump on your bike to start your adventure and be open to all the surprises you might find just around the corner, such as an untroubled land tortoise causing some mid-morning "traffic"... if you're "lucky"! You can visit many of the island's attractions, such as L'Union Estate, home to the cemetery of the island's original settlers. Attractions include a traditional copra mill, giant land tortoises, an old plantation house and the picturesque Anse Source d'Argent; famous for its huge granite boulders and clear turquoise waters.

All excursions are weather-dependent and require a minimum number of participants.
In case of cancellation, the tour will be rescheduled, an alternative excursion of similar value offered, or a full refund provided.
This is a self-guided excursion. Guests explore La Digue independently after arrival.
2. Price & Payment
Children under 2 years: free of charge.
From/to Praslin:
From 01.11.2026: €112 per adult, €75 per child (2–11 years)
From/to Mahé:
Until 31.10.2026: €165 per adult, €100 per child (2–11 years)
From 01.11.2026: €174 per adult, €105 per child (2–11 years)

6. Additional Information / Notes
Upon arrival on La Digue, the voucher must be presented to the local representative to receive the bicycle and Union Estate entrance ticket.
Group excursions can be organised on request.
Transfer Details
Please note that the pick-up times schedule refers to a departure from Mahé on Wednesdays.
The excursion starts at the clients' respective hotels. Ground transfer by coach from the accommodation to the starting point of the tour is included. The availability of a transfer depends on the accessibility of the accommodation. You can check the availability on the details page of your accommodation under transfer information. If you cannot find any information there, a transfer is usually offered. If a transfer is not possible, a pick-up will be organised at the nearest possible location.
Departure from Mahé:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: Creole Travel Service will pick up the clients at their hotels between 5.40am and 6.45am from Mahé. Please refer to the pick-up times schedule for more information.
Departure from Praslin:
Monday to Sundays: Creole Travel Service will pick up the clients at their hotels between:
- 7.40am and 8.25am (departure time of the ferry at 9.00am)
- 8.35am and 9.25am (departure time of the ferry at 10.00am)
- 9.10am and 9.55am (departure time of the ferry at 10.30am)
- 10.10am and 10.55am (departure time of the ferry at 11.00am)
The tour starts at 7.30am. The departure time for the return journey will be either 4.30pm or 5.30pm at the jetty on La Digue. Guests going on to Mahé will then take a ferry at 5.30pm or 6.00pm from the jetty on Praslin.
*Please report to the jetty 20 minutes before the listed departure time to go back to Praslin in the afternoon.
