The sweeping Kempinski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare ranks among the most glamorous resorts in the Seychelles archipelago. Upon arrival, during the long drive from the entrance of the property to the actual accommodation, you will already be aware of the secluded and idyllic location and size of the resort.
Start off your day with an abundant breakfast on one of the resort's verandas, enjoying the stunning views of Baie Lazare below. Next, work it off with a yoga, aerobics, or sports class. Afterwards, relax on the beach, at one of the bars, or in the beautiful pool, soaking up the Seychelles' peaceful atmosphere. Or, if you want a more active day, take a tour of the Seychelles capital, Victoria, or explore the hotel's surroundings; the resort will happily organise a tour package or a boat trip for you.
In October 2013, a PADI-accredited diving school was opened at the resort. Here, guests can obtain their own diving qualifications while exploring the colourful underwater world of the Indian Ocean. After your dive, treat yourself to a pleasant massage in the spa area, before preparing yourself for a magical evening at the resort.

Newly renovated rooms. Depending on the location of the room, the balcony isn't that comfortable. Sometimes pigeons nest in the roof and make a mess. Room requests far away from the construction site were taken into account. The restaurant is not cozy for our taste as it is mostly indoors and only has a few tables with a clear view of the sea. These tables are always occupied first. But the food was ok. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat in the a-la-cart restaurant "Windsong" with our booked free half-board upgrade. The prices there are excessively high (even compared to other 5-star hotels). Rooms were being renovated during our stay, but as announced, we didn't notice any construction noise. The beach is very nice with enough loungers and shaded areas. There are almost only hotel guests on the beach as it is not easily accessible from outside. Wow, what a hotel complex! Great rooms, restaurants with very good food, certainly one of the best breakfast buffets we've ever had. The beach and the coral reef in front of it are great for snorkeling. The hotel is quite remote - ideal for relaxing.
