Description:
One of the most impressive hotels in the Seychelles is Raffles, located on Praslin. The resort offers extensive luxury in a first-class location, right on the beach at Anse Takamaka. Guests are truly spoilt, with several restaurants, a spa area, yoga space, and private swimming pools just some of the things on offer.
The different villas of the hotel are all equipped with the finest interiors, and their size and exclusivity just add to their charm. Each villa has a spacious balcony with sundeck, pool, and relaxation area. Additionally, there's a butler service available to all guests, as well as other luxuries such as limousine transfers and a CD/DVD library.
The four hotels of the resort offer different culinary delights and stand out thanks to their quality and variety. We recommend trying out each one during your stay, as they are all unique in their own way and offer something different. If guests would rather dine in their own villas, room service will happily serve a mixture of international and Creole dishes on their private veranda.
The large spa area is unique on Praslin, offering a variety of pampering treatments and massages in one of the treatment pavillions. Enjoy ocean views as you let your cares wash away with a relaxing treatment. The exercise room and specially-created yoga area take care of your fitness and well-being, and guests can also prepare for their evening with an appointment in the beauty salon. Ocean View Pool Villa, full board. Real 5 stars, huge pool, great surroundings, beach right by the hotel, practically a private beach as no one outside the hotel can go there. Excellent food, but you should pay attention to the supplements; with full board, separate meals (fish restaurant) are not included. We fell for this one, which cost us an extra 100 euros. Sparkling water is not free, costs extra. The accommodation was excellent, we didn't notice any other travelers. The pool is huge (2 pools, 50 m long) and we were usually there with a maximum of 3-4 other people. My wife swam in the pool several times and was completely alone. Otherwise one of the 2 best resorts on Praslin. We also had a trip to La Digue and, like every other traveler there, we went to Anse Source D'argent.
