7 December Departure from Munich to Doha with Qatar Airways at 16:00

7 December Arrival at Doha Airport at 23:40

Lost Apple tablet at the airport 8 December Flight onwards to Mahé, Seychelles, at 02:40

Arrival on Mahé at 10:00, followed by an onward flight to Praslin at 11:30 We were met at the airport by someone holding a sign and received our hire car straight away. Drive to the hotel Chalets Cote Mer. A very warm welcome, and everything was explained clearly. We moved into our room: unfortunately, it was in serious need of renovation, and the shower was partly broken, etc. But the weather was lovely and we were in good spirits… We then immediately visited 3 supermarkets and stocked up. Afterwards, our first short walk on Eve Island, around 1 hour Dinner at the hotel: very good

9 December Breakfast from the buffet. Not a huge selection, but sufficient and good. Drive to the national park and walk through the park, followed by a banana milkshake at the bar Continued to Anse Kerlan, then walked via Constance Lemuria, Petite Anse Kerlan, the golf course and Miller Peak to Anse Georgette, where we went swimming before continuing across the golf course. Drove back, stopping to shop at a new supermarket along the way (chocolate and ice cream for immediate consumption) Returned to the hotel and visited the pool, then got ready for dinner at The Parrot

Miller viewpoint 10 December Breakfast, then drove to Anse Lazio and walked via Cherad and Miller peaks to Anse Georgette. We went swimming there, then walked back to Anse Lazio and swam again.

Drove to Fond Ferdinand and took a short walk along the trails there Drove to Raffles and walked around the resort. Drove back, stopping to shop at a new supermarket (chocolate and ice cream for immediate consumption) Visited the pool, then ate at Anse Volbert (Cote d'Or)

11 December Breakfast, then drove to Anse Volbert (Cote d'Or), where we began our walk along Salazie and crossed the island to Grand Anse. We went swimming there, then walked back. On the return journey, we stopped to shop at a new supermarket (chocolate and ice cream for immediate consumption). Dinner at Anse Volbert (Cote d'Or)

Anse Georgette 12 December Breakfast, then a rainy day. We drove to Anse la Blague and walked along Grand Anse as far as New Emerald Cove and back. Afterwards, we took the ferry to La Digue. We were collected as soon as we arrived at the harbour and taken to our accommodation, Domaine Les Rochers . We received a fantastic welcome, and the accommodation was absolutely wonderful. Afterwards, we went out for dinner. Be sure to take a torch.

13 December Made our own breakfast, then walked to Anse Caïman – Anse Cocos and back, stopping to shop at a new supermarket (chocolate and ice cream for immediate consumption). Cooked dinner and enjoyed the evening on the terrace

14 December Made our own breakfast, then walked to Anse Source d'Argent and continued to Anse Marron (walking through the water). We had a banana milkshake on the beach and enjoyed the sunset there, then returned via the supermarket to buy chocolate for immediate consumption. Cooked dinner and enjoyed the evening and night on the terrace.

Wading through the water at Anse Source d'Argent 15 December Made our own breakfast, then hired bicycles and cycled along every passable road on the island. We then went to Grand Anse and walked to Petite Anse , Anse Cocos, Anse Caïman and back, swimming at every beach. Visited the supermarket to buy chocolate for immediate consumption, then returned the bicycles and chose a takeaway. Enjoyed the evening on the terrace.

16 December Made our own breakfast, then walked to Nid d'Aigle, enjoyed the view and continued to Anse Songe and Grand Cap. On the way back, we stopped at the supermarket for the obligatory chocolate, which we ate straight away, then prepared dinner at our accommodation.

Anse Lazio, Praslin 17 December Walked to Anse Source d'Argent and enjoyed the atmosphere one last time, then took the ferry to Mahé. When we arrived at the harbour on Mahé, someone met us holding a sign and handed over our car. We drove to the supermarket for some shopping, then continued to our accommodation, Clef des Iles (beautiful view, but completely worn out and no longer recommended).

18 December Made our own breakfast, then drove to Victoria, visited the market and saw all the main sights. Drove to the tea plantation and walked there, then continued to La Plaine beach for a swim, followed by a walk to Baie Ternay and another swim. Walked back and drove home via the supermarket, eating ice cream and chocolate. Pizza for dinner, then rounded off the evening on the terrace.

19 December Made our own breakfast, then drove to the start of the Anse Major Trail and walked as far as Baie Ternay and back, stopping to swim along the way. We then drove around the island, getting out at the main sights and beautiful spots. Stopped at a supermarket for chocolate and ice cream, then drove home and had pizza.

Anse Source d'Argent 20 December Made our own breakfast, then drove to the Copolia Lodge Trail , followed by a walk on Morne Seychellois. Continued to La Plaine for a swim, then stopped at the supermarket for chocolate and ice cream before driving back and eating pizza.

21 December Made our own breakfast, then drove to Cassedent for a walk, followed by another walk at Salazie. Returned, drove around for a while and went swimming at Beau Vallon. Before that, we stopped at the supermarket for a chocolate-and-ice-cream combination. Pizza for dinner.

22 December Made our own breakfast, drove to Eden Island for a walk, then continued to Le Jardin Du Roi Spice Garden for a visit. Drove to Anse Royale, etc., then went to the capital to exchange our remaining money. Afterwards, we checked in for our return flight to Doha at 18:30. Arrived at 22:55. We went to the information desk and tried to recover the lost iPad… after 30 minutes of going back and forth, we got it back… Onward flight to Munich at 02:55.

23 December Arrival in Munich at 07:00. We headed home after a wonderful holiday, perfectly organised by SeyVillas!!!!
