The Anse Norwa Self Catering is located near to the beautiful beach of Beau Vallon, surrounded by a large tropical garden, and is well worth a look for everyone, not just divers and snorkelling fans! The four apartments of this accommodation offer great value for money, and are separated from the beach only by a small coastal road that is infrequently traversed by cars. There is also an excellent diving centre next door.

Description:
A small coastal road is all that separates the Anse Norwa Self Catering accommodation from the beach and the ocean, making this a fantastic spot for anyone who enjoys snorkelling before breakfast! Snorkelling equipment can also be rented on-site, and the coral reef that is located nearby serves up excellent conditions for snorkelling. The north end of Beau Vallon also offers excellent infrastructure for a holiday thanks to its extensive range of restaurants, shops, and watersporting activities that can all be reached in just five minutes on-foot. Underwater fans will also be right at home here, as the accommodation is located next to a diving centre. That said, the accommodation offers plenty for non-divers too, with the surrounding orchid garden, the tropical atmosphere of the estate, and the 800 or so different plants that are planted here being real highlights for anyone who chooses to stay here!
The Anse Norwa Self Catering estate offers the chance to see, hear, and smell the ocean! All in all, the accommodation offers four tasteful, contemporary living units that are suitable for two to three people each. Besides the double (or double and single) bedrooms and bathroom with WC/shower, each unit has its own verandah with a partial ocean view. Air-conditioning, ceiling fans, telephone, minibar, and TV take care of the other facilities, ensuring you are comfortable and entertained inside as well as out. Each unit also possesses a fully-equipped kitchen, including a tea and coffee maker, allowing you to prepare your own hot drinks every morning! These facilities also ensure that you can fully self-cater if you so wish, enjoying the freedom that that brings. Or, enjoy a delicious lunchtime or evening meal in one of the surrounding beach restaurants. The accommodation building is located in the rear section of the property, so is separated from the road thanks to the owners’ own house, as well as the various pieces of vegetation. The optional breakfast is served in the small garden pavilion, while the rooms are cleaned regularly (except for on Sundays and public holidays).
Beau Vallon beach is one of the most widespread sandy bays in the Seychelles. Unlike some of the country’s smaller bays, this is the ideal location to try out various watersports, whether that be surfing or waterskiing. Furthermore, there is a smallish town next to this bay, offering a number of restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets for all your essential daily items. In fact, if you want to stay on Mahé without renting a car, this is your best bet thanks to the close proximity of infrastructure and facilities.
As an island, Mahé is 28km in length, and is surrounded by beautiful beaches, while its interior plays host to a lush rainforest, ensuring excellent scenery for hikers. The capital city of the Seychelles, Victoria, is around 15 minutes’ drive from Anse Norwa, while the airport is about 25 minutes away.

Well, and then came Mahe! What a shock and what an awakening! Offering this accommodation to high-speed travelers was a real disappointment to us. The transfer went really well and we were looking forward to the days on the main island. On arrival, we were warmly received by Sonja, the Nepalese force. It was the reason why we stayed in this bad accommodation! The apartment was a joke. The narrow entrance ran past a wall between the toilet and the laundry room. The first was a musty stale smell that only got better after two days of continuous ventilation. Sure, it rained a lot, but such a penetrating bad smell was new to us! The kitchen was not clean and there were some pasta leftovers behind the microwave. No clean trash can, everything already a bit run down .... The dishes and cutlery was in a closet on the floor! The bathroom was small and moldy. On the walls one has seen black tracks. In our opinion, the owners should have cleaned there. The Sonja was very polite, we held back with criticism. We had to ventilate anyway, because the daily cockroaches were unfortunately an evil, which we caught in the evening with the glass and thrown out .... The bed was very hard. The curtains hung partly down, the fan rusted, the sockets tlw.defekt; Also in the bedroom was again wetness and mold on the wall. Daily airing, room spray and sleeping at night with the door open have provided some relief. The boss was unfortunately very shy or unwilling. In any case, we were not welcomed. She sat behind her reception counter and only responded when addressed. Ok, friendliness and service are different in my opinion, but we are a guest and polite. My question, whether Wlan was possible and we would get the access was rejected. Reason: We have to buy a card for 1 hour € 7, -. My polite and friendly question, if we could possibly change the room, as the bed was too hard and my sensitivity to the smell in the room was a bit high, was denied. Our question if we could change the room for an extra charge was denied. Since we usually do not complain, can adapt well and Sonja was so nice, we stayed. When we said goodbye Sonja lovingly hugged us and we said goodbye to her with a heavy heart. She was really friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. The boss of the house did not say goodbye to us. We signed off and said goodbye to YOU personally. Conclusion: we will not book this guest house! We were upset and disappointed that your team chose such a honeymooner accommodation! If you need photos of the lodging for confirmation, I can submit them gladly !!! The lady of Creol Services did not appear twice on the agreed visit. We had no desire to continue to wait there. Spacious and clean apartment, nice terrace overlooking the sea. The internet was extremely expensive, about 6 euros per person per hour, two days valid. For this reason we have renounced it. Also, the hosts were not very talkative and could give us almost no information on bus schedules or any activities. Self-catering a bit difficult, as two small shops with food were nearby (about 10 minutes walk), but only with a very manageable range of food.
