Description:
Day 1: Mahé – Sainte Anne Marine Park
Check in is at 3 pm. Welcome on board! After your welcome briefing and you've moved into your cabin, the catamaran will set off on the short journey to the Sainte Anne Marine Park. Over 150 different types of fish inhabit the waters of this environmentally-protected region, and, thankfully, no loud watersports disturb the peace and quiet that surrounds. In the afternoon you'll have the chance to snorkel with some flippers through the beautiful 'natural aquarium' underneath the pristine turquoise surface. The boat will anchor for the night in this small corner of paradise.
Day 2: St. Anne - Praslin
In the morning, it's 'anchors away' towards Praslin, the second-largest of the Seychelles islands. Here, you have the (optional) chance to discover the Vallée de Mai, a palm-tree forest full of endemic Seychelles plant species, an opportunity that doesn't come along very often! One of the trees, the Coco de Mer, produces fruit that can weigh up to 48 kg (about 105 lbs), can grow to heights of up to thirty metres (100 ft), and around 400 years old. The sound that the wind makes as it whistles through the leaves of the palm trees here is unforgettable. Also on Praslin is Anse Lazio, which has been described by some magazines and commentators as one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole world.
Day 3: Praslin – La Digue
Early in the morning, the boat sets off once more. This time, it's just a short hop over to La Digue, a storybook island of unparalleled beauty, incredible beaches, fine white sand, and imposing granite formations. Discover the island by bike or in one of the traditional ox-carts, as the island is practically car-free. Discover Emanuelle's house, where the eponymous film was shot, the coconut factory, the giant tortoises, and enjoy the picturesque Anse Source d'Argent. The boat will anchor in La Passe, the small harbour town. Make sure you don't miss out on the Yellow House, great for photographs thanks to its attractive construction style, one of the best in the archipelago. Equally breathtaking is the scenery at Anse Source d'Argent about an hour before sunset, when the light bounces all around, giving this beautiful scenery a magical finishing touch.
Day 4: Coco Island - Curieuse
On day 4, the catamaran will take you to Coco Island, well-known as one of the 'must-see' spots for snorkeling fans. Coco Island is a perfect little desert island, with incredible granite formations, a small beach, palm trees, and crystal-clear water surrounding the shore, containing thousands of colourful schools of fish. Next, the trip will head to Curieuse, named after a schooner of the French East Indies Company, which was sent to Mauritius in 1768. This small island is about 2 km north-east of Praslin. Here, we should mention something about the 'ground rules' on Curieuse. Namely, that you're not allowed to ride on the back of one of the giant tortoises, and in general you must be sure to respect the natural environment that surrounds you. In the south-west of the island is the Doctor's House, which was originally useful, as the island used to be a leper-colony. These days, it houses a small mueseum. On the island, you can admire the freely-roaming giant tortoises, some of which are up to 200 years old. The beach in the south-east of the island and the bizarre, sharply-edged granite boulders are also well worth a trip to see.
Day 5: Curieuse – Saint Pierre
St. Pierre is a small rocky island just offshore from Praslin that is ideal for bathing in the water and for snorkeling. Around the granite blocks here, many tame, colourful fish swim. Overnight, the catamaran anchors in front of Praslin.
Day 6: Saint Pierre – Cousin – Mahé
The (almost) circular island, Cousin, is around 29 hectares in size, and a sanctuary for endangered bird species. In 1968, the island was purchased from the authorities to be turned into a nature reserve, thanks to help from the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF). Here, you can discover numerous bird species in the trees. Visit this bird paradise (optional), in which five different types of birds that are unique to this island live. Finally, the catamaran will sail back over to the main island, Mahé, where it will stop for the night in Beau Vallon. Here, you can spend some time trying out one of the many watersports opportunities available.
Day 7: Mahé
In the morning you will reach one of the most beautiful bays of Mahé, from there, you could decide to visit Victoria, the small capital of the island. After the evening spent on St. Anne or on Eden Island, the final meal will be served on board before the last night on St. Anne or on the VPM base on Eden Island.

The highlight of the holiday, thanks to our great crew with Captain Jilani, Ryan, Marvin and of course our super chef Jahmeel, as well as our friendly fellow holidaymakers. We only went sailing twice, but that was also due to the lack of wind. Great opportunities for swimming and snorkelling off the islands of Coco Island or Saint Pierre, for example, as well as trips to Curieuse, for example. At lunchtime and in the evening, Jahmeel spoiled us with varied and fresh dishes. It was unbelievable what was conjured up in the small galley with the help of the crew. The catamaran was quite large, with lots of space, a little old, but super clean. 2 SUPs, a kayak, fins, diving goggles were available. A small downside was the air conditioning not being activated, at night it was very hot in the cabins. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
This sailing trip is a really great experience. The catamaran is unfortunately getting on in years. Unfortunately we had cabin number 6, inside next to the diesel generator and outside above the exhaust. This cabin should not be rented out, because it was impossible to stay in the cabin during the day due to the noise and exhaust fumes. It would be better suited as a crew cabin, because they don't go to sleep until late in the evening after the diesel generator has been turned off. There was also air conditioning on board, which unfortunately wasn't working, although cooling down the cabins in the evening before going to bed is urgently needed to be able to sleep better. That's it, everything else, like the food, the service, the crew was top class. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
