Everything was as described. Very warm welcome, nice room and fantastic breakfast. We did have occasional problems with the water, but that seems to be due to the current drought/water shortage.

The staff were very friendly, and the bike rental option was appreciated. The room wasn't very large, with little space for luggage; however, the bathroom was very nice, with a nice shower and a large outdoor terrace with a table and chairs. Breakfast was different every day and was exceptional, with fresh juices, tea, fruit, toast with jam, yogurt or porridge, and a choice of dish (fish, eggs, or typical Creole specialties). The location is convenient for exploring the island by bike, with a takeaway and small markets just 3 minutes away.

In fact, your bicycle will allow you to experience the life of the Seychellois and live amongst them for your stay! A visit to the world-famous Anse Source d'Argent should be on any holidaymaker's list when visiting La Digue, while the imposing, wild Grand Anse is another main attraction. Finally, a hike up the Nid d'Aigle (300 m; 984 feet) is worth it for a sensational view of the island, the ocean, and the surroundings of La Digue.
