Enjoy the quaint garden of the estate and its relaxing atmosphere, which even feels somewhat like the Jungle Book. The traditional restaurant of the accommodation serves up a delicious breakfast each morning, and also offers delicious Creole cuisine (on request) in the evenings after you enjoy a delicious cocktail at the bar. Fresh fish and seafood, grilled meat, delicious curries and vegetables traditional to the Seychelles are just some examples of the seasonal dishes that they serve.

The tasteful, welcoming island atmosphere extends to the interior of the accommodation, ensuring that you have space to get away from the stress of daily life. Bright walls and blankets create an aesthetic atmosphere along with the natural tiles, materials, and furniture of the accommodation, creating both contrast and an inviting living atmosphere for you to enjoy; just sit back and relax! Besides the well-furnished terrace with its incredible garden view, the rooms offer air-conditioning and a minibar. Furthermore, each room has a comfortable en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. The location of the Rising Sun Guesthouse doesn't offer direct access to the beach, but makes up for it with extensive privacy and peace, and isn't too far from the beach anyway, should you wish to pay a visit during your stay. The best way of getting around La Digue is by bike, and there is plenty to enjoy while you are riding from one spot to another. Despite the island's small size, its infrastructure is rather good, with shops and restaurants aplenty. A visit to the world-famous beach of Anse Source d'Argent is well worth it thanks to the combination of sand dunes and a wonderful view of the crystal-clear ocean. For an even better view, climb up to the top of the Nid Aigle mountain (300 metres high) for one of the best views in the Seychelles of La Digue, the ocean, and the neighbouring islands.
