Very friendly staff. Beautiful, green grounds. Very clean accommodations. We stayed in the Palmier apartment, which has a fantastic terrace with a prime view of the bay. Our return flight wasn't until the evening. We were allowed to use one of the smaller apartments on our day of departure and even shower there after our last day at the beach, which we thought was very nice. A rental car is recommended, at least for part of the time. The climb up from the village is a bit strenuous, but you're rewarded with a fantastic view.

Poor accommodation and too expensive compared to its dilapidation. Musty smell in the rooms. Location is pretty good even if the road is extremely steep to get there (which is not necessarily a problem). Personally, I did not like Beau Vallon especially after having passed through peaceful places like Praslin and La Digue. Too much traffic, too many people and extremely dense neighborhood. The south of the island is much more beautiful, quieter and much more pleasant to live in.
