If you enjoy spectacular sunset views then the Reve Bleu estate in Glacis in the north of Mahé may be the accommodation for you. These small houses are located on a cliff above the bay of Beau Vallon and offer stunning views of the ocean from their balconies and terraces, as well as the opportunity to watch the sunset over the ocean every evening. The houses themselves are also beautiful and ideal for families or groups travelling together who are looking for a spacious self-catering option with plenty of privacy. Sunset Beach is just 1.1 km away, and there is also a small grocery market nearby. For purchases further afield then a rental car is recommended, as you can park it right at the property, and Beau Vallon is just a few minutes away.
Classic and well-maintained with island-typical accessories, the apartments here offer plenty of windows, white walls, cool tile flooring, and quaint furniture pieces made of tropical wood for a summery Seychelles flair. The rooms in the houses are all large and open-plan, with inviting seating all over to relax in. The large, well-equipped kitchen is ideal for amateur chefs to cook in, and the living area offers cosy sofas. The bedroom is also ideal for those looking for a little space to themselves. The partially covered balconies or terraces are also a dream and ideal for sitting outside with a drink in your hand, enjoying the surrounding nature.
It’s well worth getting to know the island of Mahé with your rental car. You can drive to the capital of Victoria 7 km away to get to know this somewhat relaxed capital city, which is far from the hustle and bustle of a large city but is nevertheless the largest settlement in the Seychelles. The streets here offer colourful houses and are lined by palm trees. You can find small restaurants, different shops, and other facilities including banks here. You should also pay a visit to the local market where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, and fish. Finally, the capital is home to other attractions such as the Clock Tower or the national museum, as well as the Botanical Garden and the harbour.

Self-catering
The accommodation offers meals on-site on request. Breakfast €15/person (12+), lunch and dinner: €30/person (12+). Children (7 - 11) pay half, and children (0 - 6) are free.
Please note: if the apartment is booked for 2 people, the other bedroom will remain locked for the duration of your stay. If you would like to use this room too then it must be booked extra.

This hillside accommodation is highly recommended. We really spent two wonderful weeks with our two children (9 and 11). The apartment extends over the entire floor, has 2 balconies and its own entrance, including parking space for a rental car. At an altitude of over 100 meters you have a fantastic view towards the Indian Ocean and in the evening you can sit on one of the two balconies in the first row to admire the wonderful sunsets and the Seychelles fruit bats, which in this scenario make their rounds in the evening sky. If you look a little further to the left, you can see the beach and bay of Beau Ballon in the distance, as well as the impressive mountain scenery of the Seychelles (sometimes even with a rainbow). The photos are 100% true to reality. The apartment is super clean, stylishly furnished and perfectly equipped for self-catering. The rooms are bright and very modern furnished. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning with its own remote control. The beds have fantastic mattresses of a high standard. The bathrooms are also in good condition and work perfectly. After visiting the beach you can comfortably use an outdoor shower. The apartment was cleaned on weekdays - every time we came back from our day trips with our rental car, everything was sparkling clean. The hostess Ronelle lives in the house next door. She was there for us immediately on the day of arrival, even though we were at the apartment very early. She is very accommodating and friendly.
