A Wonderful Love Affair with Nature
I entrusted SeyVillas with organising my holiday in the Seychelles, and I must say I was delighted. The website is extremely well organised: I was able to choose the length of my trip, which islands to visit, transfers between the various islands and hotels, all from a wide range of options to suit different tastes and individual needs.

My holiday lasted 18 days in total, including travel and stopovers, with 4 days on Mahé, the main island, 5 on Praslin and 7 on La Digue.
Needless to say, the Seychelles are a wonderful place. The islands are surrounded by beautiful beaches framed by huge, towering granite boulders that gleam in the sunlight, while the lush vegetation found throughout the islands adds a touch of green and provides a home for unique, rare species that live undisturbed and protected from human activity.
We had a very pleasant stay at every hotel. The daily housekeeping and the care shown to us meant that we could spend our holiday in complete comfort and relaxation, without having to worry about a thing. The cheerful, friendly local people, especially on La Digue, always put you in a good mood. Everyone is willing to help and always has a smile on their face.
The beaches that impressed us most on the various islands were: on Mahé, Petite Anse, Anse Soleil and Anse Intendance; on Praslin, Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette; and on La Digue, Anse Source d'Argent and Anse Cocos. To reach some of the beaches, we had to pass through magnificent luxury resorts that blended beautifully into their natural surroundings. They offered well-maintained beaches, as well as small restaurants or bars where you could cool down with a fruit juice.

Although we did not visit the Seychelles during the recommended season, we were still fortunate, as it was sunny almost all the time, with only the occasional light cloud. Perhaps the only drawback was the very rough sea, which made swimming and snorkelling impossible at some beaches. Apart from that, the sea and snorkelling were wonderful at the beaches sheltered from the wind.

We also made sure to take plenty of excursions throughout the holiday. They were unique and unforgettable experiences, allowing us to see and experience enchanting places and wildlife for ourselves. We encountered sharks, sea turtles and giant tortoises, fish in a thousand colours and unspoilt beaches that could only be reached by small boats operated by local people. Once we arrived on the island, they cooked freshly caught fish for us, along with local specialities such as honey chicken, various salads, rice with lentil sauce, curry and more.

As for the food, in addition to what I have just described, those with a more delicate stomach or particular tastes will find restaurants on every island serving not only traditional Creole dishes but also Italian cuisine and ‘international’ food such as burgers, pizza and pasta.
The Seychelles are wonderful, and thanks to SeyVillas we were able to enjoy them to the fullest. They gave us a holiday that we will never forget.
