Paradise on Earth Really Does Exist
We set off from Milan for the Seychelles, heading to Praslin. As soon as we landed, we realised that our trip would be unforgettable.
Praslin
Once we had been taken to our hotel, we set off to discover Praslin’s wonderful beaches. We visited Anse Georgette after asking the wonderful Lemuria resort for permission through our own resort, Berjaya Praslin Resort. From there, we had to walk for about 25 minutes alongside vast, beautiful golf courses.

The beach has dazzling white sand and is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by wonderful vegetation. It is not very busy, as Lemuria only allows a limited number of visitors in each day. So, if you decide to go, you should book the day before to make sure you are allowed in.
Anse Lazio is the beach of all beaches. It is in the north-west of the island and, unlike Anse Georgette, it is very popular, so I recommend going early in the morning to make the most of this spectacular beach. If you are lucky enough to have a beautiful day, you can easily go snorkelling and swimming. We took the bus to reach the beach. It was always very crowded with tourists and locals, but still very convenient. The bus dropped us off about a 30-minute walk from the beach, but it was a lovely opportunity to stretch our legs. From there, you can also reach other little coves, but you have to go through the sea, and only at low tide.
La Digue
La Digue was the island we liked the most. It feels frozen in time, and everyone gets around by bicycle. In the evening, you need a torch to make your way around the island. Here too, we explored the island several times in search of unforgettable corners of paradise.
We visited Anse Source d'Argent, paying an entrance fee of SCR 100, but it was worth it. It was a day filled with excitement, sunshine, sea and fish. If you are lucky, you may even see weddings taking place on the beach.
You can take beautiful photographs with these enormous black granite boulders, which make you feel tiny but blissfully happy to be there. Remember always to bring your reef shoes, as you will often need them. Do not stop at the first beach as we did not either: keep going and you will find more little beaches and coves.

To reach Grand Anse, we cycled through the cool tropical forest, but once we arrived, the view made the effort of cycling completely worthwhile. The waves that day let us have fun like children. However, there is no shade here, so make sure you apply plenty of sun cream to avoid getting burnt.
Here too, it is easy to come across giant tortoises beside the road. You can stop and give them a few leaves to eat. The places are wonderful, but we should also mention that the people are very warm and friendly.
Mahé
The final stop on our trip was Mahé, the largest island in the archipelago. The beach in front of our resort (AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa) was also very beautiful. Although swimming was prohibited, on lovely days when the sea was calm, it was possible to swim without any difficulty.
Anse Soleil is a very beautiful beach, and the sunsets here are an absolute must-see. The only work we did, and that you will have to do too, was swim, sunbathe, relax and get plenty of rest.
Our journey ends here after 2 weeks in the Seychelles. We have not told you everything about this wonderful trip because we saw so much that it would take a month to recount it all. In any case, that would not be right, because if you decide to come here, you will experience for yourselves all the emotions that we felt.

Everything was wonderful, from the beaches and the people to the food. Above all, we would like to thank SeyVillas for supporting us throughout this trip. They are a 100% reliable tour operator, and we did not have a single problem. They work with the highly professional Creole, whose staff were very attentive to travellers’ needs and made us feel completely at home.
I will finish by saying: if you have not been yet, what are you waiting for????? GO!
