Far Away in the Seychelles

Mahé

The final stop on our holiday south of the equator was the island of Mahé. After the safari tour, we were looking forward to a few relaxing days away from everyday life, on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We arrived in Victoria, where we received a warm welcome before being taken to our accommodation at The Beach House on Beau Vallon.
The next day, we began by enjoying the view out to sea and looked forward to an exotic breakfast. The meeting afterwards with the Creole Travel Service team was very helpful and pleasant. We were given all the information we needed for our days in the Seychelles. The people at the Beach House were also incredibly helpful and friendly.

We went on our first excursion independently, taking the bus to Sauzier Waterfall.

Sauzier WaterfallSauzier Waterfall A bus journey like this is worth experiencing once because it is certainly adventurous, but try to keep the journey as short as possible. Sauzier Waterfall is quite nice. We combined our visit with a wonderful meal and lovely views at the nearby Del Place.
Beau Vallon BeachBeau Vallon Beach Our next excursion with the Creole team was much more comfortable and absolutely fantastic. We travelled to the coconut plantation on La Digue,

Afterwards, we continued to what is probably the best-known beach, Anse Source d'Argent, where we sipped a delicious coconut drink.

For the return journey, we chose the more comfortable option and took the Hapiness Water Taxi directly to Beau Vallon, where we spent our final evening before leaving this dream island and returning to everyday life.
