We are Tina and Max, and we would like to give you a little insight into our
island-hopping trip in the Seychelles.
We discovered SeyVillas online. The website made it very easy to plan our holiday
and offered a wide selection of accommodation. Another major advantage was that
we could book a hire car directly through SeyVillas Exploring by hire car. The same applied to our transfers to and from
the airport, as well as the ferry crossings.
Our hire car was delivered directly to our accommodation and collected from there
again. We did not have to worry about a thing, so our holiday got off to a very
relaxed start.
We chose island hopping so that we could see as much of the Seychelles as
possible.
First, we visited the main island of Mahé, where we stayed for 5 days.
Our accommodation was very clean, and the owners were very friendly. East Horizon
Mahé is a beautiful island where you can discover many wonderful beaches. It is
the most touristy island of them all, yet we still found several almost deserted
beaches where we could relax. Anse Bacarca
If you keep your eyes open while exploring the island, you will often spot beaches like these
right beside the road. You can simply park your car at the roadside and find
a paradise beach directly in front of you.
Other beaches were a little busier, but still pleasant, and they never felt
overcrowded to us. We can also highly recommend the Copolia Lodge Trail
south of Mahé. The trail leads through dense jungle, and at the end you are rewarded with
a beautiful view of Eden Island.

We then took the
ferry to Praslin. We stayed there for 5
days as well and were very pleased with both the service and our accommodation. This
smaller island is more laid-back than Mahé. There is less
traffic, and you gradually become immersed in the tropical idyll. We can highly recommend
Anse Georgette, for example. You need to register in advance,
but our host kindly arranged this for us. Anse Georgette, Praslin
We were also able to admire the
underwater world, both while snorkelling from the beach and on a
professional diving excursion. We can thoroughly recommend the ‘Octopus Diving
Center’ at Anse Volbert (Cote d'Or). We found what was, for us, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world
near Anse Lazio. The beach, called Petite Anse Lazio,
is slightly hidden and can be reached via a short hike. We felt
as though we were on a deserted island, as we had the beach entirely
to ourselves all day and could enjoy pure paradise. Petite Anse Lazio
We spent the final 3 days of our holiday on La Digue. Here, you will find
some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Anse Source d'Argent, La Digue
As a visitor, you can only hire
bicycles on the island, which are perfect for exploring. L'Union Estate Park
You leave all your stress behind
and feel as though you have arrived in paradise.
Our accommodation here was also lovely, and the owner was very hospitable.
He gave all his guests freshly harvested papayas from his own garden.
Overall, we were absolutely delighted with the Seychelles, and we
miss our time there very much.
Before our trip, we would never have thought it was possible to visit 3
islands in the Seychelles at a reasonable price. However, SeyVillas offers a wide selection of
accommodation across various price ranges.
Without the easy planning provided by SeyVillas, we might never have been able
to make this dream holiday a reality.
