Activities and specials:
- This hotel prides itself on top-quality service, and the staff will be more than happy to organise various excursions and tours around Praslin for guests.
- The estate is rather isolated, perfect for those looking for complete privacy and tranquillity during their stay.
- The hotel's restaurant offers a daily changing menu based on fresh local produce.
- Due to the isolated location of the property, we recommend booking a rental car.
Description:
Villa Anse La Blague is a small hotel with three spacious double rooms. This relatively new property is nestled amidst tropical scenery on Praslin's east coast, with peace and tranquillity that is typical of the region. The hotel is just a short distance from the beach, making it ideal for anyone wanting to spend their time swimming or snorkelling. At low tide, the water here is very shallow, while the sea becomes rougher at other times. In contrast to other spots on the island such as Côte d'Or, Anse La Blague has a relatively small tourist presence, allowing guests to explore their surroundings in near-solitude. Even during the high season, the region's stunning beaches are deserted.
The hotel's double rooms all offer fantastic sea views, allowing you to take full advantage of the location. The rooms are spacious, measuring 45m² each, and are well-equipped. Groups of four can book neighbouring rooms, and have the option of unlocking the inter-connecting doors if they wish to create a more open space. The Villa Anse La Blague is also home to the area's only restaurant and bar, where guests can take a break amidst the Seychelles' nature and enjoy their meal or a refreshing drink in tropical surroundings.
In addition to having a scenic location, Villa Anse La Blague also provides the ideal base for exploring the area, and the island of Praslin as a whole. While we do recommend booking a rental car, it is also comforting to know that there is a bus stop in close proximity to the property. One of the island's main attractions is the UNESCO protected Vallée de Mai nature reserve, home to many endemic Seychelles plant species. Discover the island's famous Coco de Mer palm tree while exploring the park's numerous paths. If you feel like a bit more action, try the hustle and bustle of the nearby Côte d'Or, before driving back to the villa and finishing the evening in serene natural surroundings along the coast of Anse La Blague.

We received a friendly welcome, the whole team is really very nice. The hostess very helpful in planning the days spent there. The hotel has a few rooms in the main building and two rooms a few doors down, we stayed in one of these rooms. Even if there was no direct reason, we felt a little unsafe due to this somewhat remote location and would have preferred to have stayed in the main building. The room was a bit dated, but great in terms of cleanliness and size. We booked half board and the food was really good, however you are served a set menu and if there are many things you don't like it should be communicated in advance. We asked to find out what the evening was going to be before it was served so we didn't have to leave anything back if we could tell beforehand we didn't like it. Then it worked fine. The place where the hotel is located is very remote, without a rental car it was a little complicated to get from A to B. There is a bus that stops right in front of the hotel, but it only runs until the late afternoon and it can happen that it just doesn't come and then you have to take a taxi. Super great staff and the mistress of the house gives great tips on where locals go swimming ???? Tip: a rental car is important because it is a somewhat remote part of the island. But you have the house beach to yourself Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
