A lovely place to stay. We were given bicycles, breakfast, and a free late check-out. It was absolutely fantastic! There was even a washing machine in the bathroom! The kitchen gets quite hot if you don't use the air conditioning in the bedrooms with the doors open. On the plus side, laundry dries in just a few hours, which I haven't seen anywhere else. Breakfast was great for me, though others might find it a bit monotonous. There were small pancakes, two kinds of jam, three types of fruit, honey, eggs or an omelet, toast, and cake. Perhaps the coffee wasn't the best, but for me, someone who loves pancakes, I didn't miss a thing :-) Centrally located, you can get anywhere on the island by bike in 5-10 minutes. However, this is more convenient for the island's interior than the beach area.
Translation (DE)The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. And that's the only positive thing. The furnishings in the rooms were very worn and damaged. Room and closet doors wouldn't close, and the chairs wobbled so much you didn't dare sit on them. The air conditioning was difficult to turn on and off, and the windows rattled constantly in the wind. The food (half-board) was okay, but we only ate breakfast twice because you had to wait forever to use one of the two (small) toasters (and there were only 10 other people there besides us; the hotel was practically empty). The hotel's bike rental offered only ancient, rusty, and mostly broken bikes. I had to exchange the first bike immediately; the bottom bracket was completely shot. After that, they tried to fix four more bikes, only to return them again because they were broken. The fifth one was "workable"—I could ride it, but I couldn't shift gears; the gears were broken. I also had to get off and walk uphill because the gears would lock up when I tried to pedal. Overall, this accommodation is not recommended.
