Description:
The 12 villas of the Villa Veuve estate are perfect for a private, relaxing holiday on La Digue. Thanks to their quiet location, the villas are especially perfect for families or couples looking for a lot of space instead of for a hotel holiday.
The ten-minute walk to Anse Source d'Argent takes guests past a number of beautiful plants and palm trees, and provides views of the tropical mountains. The estate's garden also provides a tropical atmosphere where guests can spend time amongst the colourful flowers and plants.
The estate also offers bike rental, allowing you to reach the beach more rapidly than on foot, or take your own bike tour of the island, allowing you to discover the island's many hidden coves and beaches. The villas themselves are located alongside a path, and the large, welcoming veranda stretches out in front of the property. From here, guests enter the villas, each of which comes equipped with one bedroom for up to four people, a fully-equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, a bathroom, and a living room.
The accommodation also possesses an excellent restaurant that serves up a number of Creole delicacies such as fish curries for guests to enjoy. This only adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the accommodation, ensuring guests will enjoy a friendly, relaxing stay on La Digue.

The property has four separate Four-Person Villas with interconnecting doors. Guests can book two of these villas, adjoined via a shared door, each with two double beds, providing a villa for up to eight guests.
If the 2-Bedroom-Apartment is booked by 2 people then the second bedroom will remain locked for the duration of your stay.

We received a very warm welcome in this guesthouse, which is located a little inland. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the super tasty, rich Creole food on our half board and it tasted good. The other amenities in our room, such as the kettle, air conditioning, etc., worked perfectly. Unfortunately, mosquito nets over the beds were missing and would have been very helpful. The mattresses should be replaced and we found the price of the bike on site too expensive for this "quality". However, on the day of departure, we were allowed to stay in the air-conditioned room until midday without any restrictions or extra charge, which we very gratefully accepted. The Villa Veuve is in the immediate vicinity of the Veuve Bird Reserve and it is not far by bike to the L'Union Estate Park. All in all, we were very happy with our accommodation here too. Breakfast no sausage and no cheese, not even on request, like in the first hotel. Coffee cream was poured back into the tetra pack after not being used, even though it had been standing at the table for a long time. Red wine was ordered, white wine came and was poured back into the bottle. The person who was there to serve just looked at his cell phone the whole time and you had to go to him and tell him the water was empty, the coffee was empty. A large group was there for dinner, there was delicious grilled fish and also 2 different salads, delicious night table. The group was gone, just a salad and dessert from a tin. No grilled fish.
