The hotel's location is excellent. You're right in the heart of things, with several supermarkets, numerous restaurants, and takeaway options within easy walking distance. The beach is right outside, instantly creating a pleasant holiday atmosphere. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily, and the towels were changed regularly. However, instead of a view of the beach or the sea from our room, we were greeted by a huge pile of garbage bags. Furthermore, we experienced an unpleasant odor from the bathroom drain throughout our stay, which became noticeably stronger in the evenings. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. At times, however, their friendliness seemed somewhat forced and, over time, rather intrusive. Breakfast was generally adequate but didn't particularly impress us. A major drawback is the price level at the restaurant and hotel bar. Anyone planning to eat there regularly or order cocktails should be prepared for correspondingly high prices. For example, one evening we asked at reception about a nearby place to enjoy a fresh coconut with a Takamaka shot. We were advised to order this directly at the hotel bar, as it would be significantly cheaper than buying it on the street. When we inquired about the price, we were told the drink cost 80 rupees. So we decided to go for it. The presentation and taste were excellent. The surprise was all the greater when we later received the bill: two coconuts cost a total of 540 rupees – the equivalent of just over 30 euros. It hadn't been mentioned beforehand that the 80 rupees was only for the coconut without the rum. For comparison, a similar drink – with considerably more rum – costs around 150 rupees per coconut in a bar only about 150 meters from the hotel. Overall, our stay was okay, but we wouldn't book the hotel again. The longer we were there, the more the disappointments outweighed the positive impressions. Praslin is a beautiful island that we would gladly visit again. Next time, we would definitely book different accommodation, as this one didn't offer good value for money.

Breakfast was excellent, with excellent service and helpfulness. The room had a terrace overlooking the sea, and the palm trees that extend onto the terrace were beautiful. Excellent cleanliness. If I were to return to Praslin, this would definitely be my hotel.
