The extensive Domaine de Bacova estate is located in the south-east of Mahé, on the coast, and consists of two villas, each with space for four people, and a two-person bungalow. The closest beach, the Pointe au Sel, is located just 50 metres away, and the famous Anse Royale beach is about ten minutes' walk away. Besides the three beautiful houses, the estate offers a large garden where guests can relax and grill freshly-caught fish in the evenings.

The well-maintained Domaine de Bacova estate consists of two villas and a bungalow where guests can spend an unforgettable self-catering holiday. The large garden also offers an outside area to relax, especially in the evenings, where freshly-caught fish can be prepared on the grill while guests admire the surrounding tropical plants and palm trees.
Over 100 years ago, the estate's surroundings formed part of a plantation for bananas, coconuts, and vanilla, hence the Bacova name. Today, Le Domaine de Bacova has grown into one of the best self-catering resorts on Mahé.
Thanks to the close proximity of the beach, guests can look forward to a fabulous tropical Seychelles holiday. The stunning sandy landscapes and excellent climate of the Seychelles will allow you to forget the worries of daily life as you relax under the tropical sun.
The bungalow and two villas, which can also be rented as two separate studio apartments, are furnished in a friendly, welcoming manner, and offer a charming modern atmosphere to guests.

Self-catering
One child under 2 years old can be accommodated in a baby cot for €5/night, or sleep in the parents' bed for free.
Please be informed that one extra night has to be booked for an early check-in before 12:00 pm and a late check-out after 10:00 am since the accommodation does not offer a communal area for staying outside of the rooms.

We had rented the studio on the upper floor in Haus Hugo (Hugo2 for short) for 8 nights. The studio is functionally furnished. The kitchen is in an anteroom of the studio open to the stairwell of the building. Here you can lock a lattice door at night for security. The kitchen is equipped with the most important utensils for cooking - ventilation is only possible via the windows in the stairwell, which can hardly be opened, or via the living room. The house is right on the main road between Victoria and Anse Royal - every morning the traffic roars towards the capital and back in the evening. There is also a bus stop nearby with frequent arrival and departure traffic. There is no sun protection on the balcony and it is difficult to have a conversation with the traffic. As the owner Henri was about to go on vacation, much of the conversation with him was via WhatsApp. After 3 days we asked if it would be possible to move to the apartment on the ground floor with payment of the costs, Henri let us have the apartment without any further costs, thanks again for that! There is a shaded porch here and the wall surrounding the property is high enough to block out much of the street noise. The apartment is much better equipped than the studio. It consists of 2 rooms (bedroom, living/dining area with kitchen). You have access to the sea via the opposite plot of "Bacova Sur Mer by Le Domaine de Bacova". The beach area is small (not available at high tide) but great for cooling off. Henri's team has always supported and helped us, the service is awesome!! Many thanks again to Henri and his team !!!
