Once you’ve settled in and unpacked a little, it is time to sit on the quaint veranda area and enjoy a cooling drink in breathtaking surroundings. Furthermore, there is a beautiful garden for you to enjoy, where you can sit back and relax, even under cover, or serve up a delicious grilled barbeque in the evening. The friendly owners of the estate, Sylvia and Aime, practically live next door, and are always available for questions.

The direct entry into the house across the veranda blends the interior into the exterior of the house, allowing you to always find the most appropriate place at any point for you to relax. The combined living/dining room includes an integrated kitchen, making it a likely candidate for the main living area of your holiday, provided you don’t spend your time outside that is. The interior is also augmented by the charming use of wood, creating a wonderful atmosphere as well as ensuring that the house has a real one-of-a-kind feel to it. In the fully-equipped kitchen, you will find everything you need to ensure simple self-catering, and you can buy fresh ingredients in the villa’s surroundings. Enjoy your meals either at the wooden table in the window-corner, or on the terrace (in fact, it tends to taste best under the open Seychelles sky anyway!) A small WC is also available on the ground floor of the house, ensuring daily comfort during your holiday and avoiding the need to go traipsing up and down stairs all day.

That said, the upstairs area is certainly worth seeing: there is a beautiful bedroom, furnished entirely using wood, and with charming, inviting colours, creating a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. On the glass-paned veranda, you can sit back and enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding greenery from the comfort of your own chair; this is also the ideal spot to enjoy a good book. Thick pillows lie on the large mattress, ensuring a soft, inviting place to lie down at night or during the day. Wake up refreshed in your bed in the morning and listen to the relaxing sounds of the waves, or peek out at the blue of the sea, visible between the palm trees. Just next door, guests will find a black-and-white bathroom where they can freshen up for the day before enjoying a delicious breakfast. Or, for those who'd prefer the added comfort of catering, breakfast, a delicious Creole evening meal, or even barbeques can all be booked on request.

Granite Self Catering offers also a lovely apartment for up to three persons. It has one main bedroom, one bathroom together with a toilet area, one verandah and kitchen. It is partially made of brick and all the ceilings inside are covered with wood.The location is just beside the Granite Self Catering house but total privacy is assured as the garden in front is planted with flowers and a wooden friendly barrier is in-place as a separation. It is facing the outside kiosk and garden area. Guests have access to the garden area, even if the apartment verandah is not just on the garden ground directly.

The House and the Apartment both are ideal for couples or guests travelling in a group, families, friends etc) as they can just book both the house and the apartment and be close enough throughout the stay.
