Description:
The North Island Lodge is located, as the name suggests, on North Island in the Seychelles. The grounds of the lodge consist of the entire island, on which there is no further infrastructure besides the resort; not even paved roads or shops. The villas of the lodge were built on the beautiful north beach of the island. There is a further beach on the opposite side of the island, as well as some smaller, untouched coves, most of which can easily be reached on-foot, as well as with your own bicycle or electric golf cart.
Before building the lodge, the operators carried out extensive market research, concluding that people in our crowded modern societies place a lot of emphasis on privacy and personal space. This emphasis was woven into the design of the North Island Lodge.
With this in mind, the villas were designed to be spacious, exclusive units of 450m² (750m² in case of Villa North Island), giving you plenty of room to relax and enjoy their stay on this private island. There is no better place to recharge your batteries and set your thoughts free from the troubles of daily life.
Each villa was constructed by Seychellois or African craftsmen on the island, who used wood, natural stone, glass, and reeds as the principal building materials. This extensive use of natural materials has ensured a relaxing atmosphere and a refreshing island breeze for each villa.
All Presidential Villas are situated in a discrete row of trees overlooking the island's beautiful beach. The ultra-exclusive Villa North Island is located in a small takamaka tree forest on a slight elevation above the beach. The view from here is truly spectacular, comparing favourably with any view anywhere else in the world. It is also different in terms of its unique architecture.
Each of the villas on North Island offers unique design and stylistic features, truly embracing the concept of barefoot luxury.
Why not enjoy a morning walk along untouched and empty beaches before joining a group yoga class or embarking upon an exploration of the underwater world surrounding the island? With the wide array of activities available, you will certainly not get bored! Those who prefer a more laid-back approach have the possibility to make use of the resort’s library, relax in the spa (additional fees apply) or laze around the Piazza. This open-plan meeting and seating area offers first-class cuisine right on the powder-fine beach.
Even though you might never want to leave North Island again, optional full-day excursions are available to be booked, for example to La Digue, Praslin, or Mahé (additional fees apply). Soak up the lively and friendly atmosphere of the Seychelles’ main inhabited islands before returning to your secluded island paradise in the evening!

Half-board contains romantic 3-course dinners including soft drinks and 1 glass of champagne per adult either in the restaurants "LaidBack" and "Sunset Beach" or in your own villa.
When booking full board, the 3-course dinner as well as the à-la-carte lunch including all beverages (except drinks on the reserve list) in the restaurants "Sunset Beach" (lunch only), "LaidBack" or in the privacy of your own villa are included.
A romantic sunset boat trip, a half-day fishing trip for 2 persons, a snorkeling trip, 1 diving trip per day, a 90-minute spa treatment (once during your stay) as well as a private dining experience such as a picnic on the beach, a cooking class or a rum tasting are also included if you choose the "Dream Rate". The gala dinner is offered on 24.12. at €551 per adult from 12 years and 275€ per child from 2 to 11 years, as well as on 31.12. at €903 per adult from 12 years and €452 per child from 2 to 11 years.
