Description:
Enjoy breakfast between coconut trees and orchids, with the scent of exotic fruits and freshly-brewed coffee in the air. Is there a better way to start each day of your holiday? At the Takamaka Green Village, amidst an evergreen garden, this can be a reality. Restaurants and supermarkets can be found within walking distance, and the closest beach is just 500 metres away. Anse Takamaka rounds off the area with its fine, golden sand and crystal-clear water, ideal for snorkelling, and the small waves and little wind mean the water is calm. A day at the beach here with the whole family is more than possible. After a day spend at the beach in the sun and swimming, you might need to recharge your batteries a little. Why not enjoy an evening meal at the Takamaka Green Village, then, where you can enjoy Creole dishes with an Italian influence (available on request). Finally, round off the day on your terrace with a cup of tea. The aromatic herbs and spices for that come straight from the mountains on Mahé, and the lemongrass from the Takamaka Green Village's very own garden.
Takamaka Green Village blends in perfectly to the lush greenery and coconut trees that surround it. The imposing villa with its noble wooden furniture contains rooms in different categories. The brightly-lit, white decorated rooms are fitted with a great deal of attention to detail: the furniture is largely made my a local carpenter. Dark, natural wood along with colourful accents lend the rooms a comfortable feeling. The pictures on the wall are all made by local artists, and the mixture of unique art and white colours creates a unique sense of flair in your holiday accommodation. Pastel grey and beige tones make the bathroom a veritable wellness oasis with lots of natural light. Meanwhile, the terrace with its view of the garden and the evergreen hills of Mahé is a real highlight. A practical seating area invites you to enjoy a game of cards or relax a while. Watch your children playing in the garden or listen to the crickets chirping in the evenings.
Incredible beaches and wild, evergreen jungle can both be found close to the Takamaka Green Village. Mahé is also home to everything that you need for a tropical island holiday. Discover the south of the largest Seychelles island from this location, either as part of a hiking tour towards Bougainville, where fruit and vegetable farms abound, or to the picturesque Police Bay, right in the south of the island. You can reach the Morne Seychellois National Park in the north of the island, complete with mangrove forests, jungle, and tortoises, in around 45 minutes by car.

Wonderful and a little magical. Very nice people. Delicious food. I felt very well looked after. Of course I had a car - that's important here. The beaches in the south of Mahe are great. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
The complex is adapted to the quiet south of the island and offers the same as on Pralins and La Digue. Very attentive staff, excellent food and a clean and nicely furnished room. The on-site support from your organization was limited to handing over the key. The supervisor was probably new, at least I didn't see him again. The young man at reception then took over and informed me about a few things worth knowing. It's a shame that there are now three hotels on Anse Takamaka that don't fit in with the beach image and immediately attract tourists who have a lot of money but don't take waste disposal seriously enough. For me, Anse Takamaka was the most beautiful place for snorkeling, what diversity in the underwater world. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
