Whenever we claim an accommodation offers great value for money, we only do so if we're 100% sure of this fact. Le Duc de Praslin is one of those cases, offering high-quality facilities and a great location for less money than other high-class Seychelles accommodations.
Le Duc de Praslin is an exquisite 4-star hotel that stacks up well against European standards. The hotel is located within a tropical beach garden, right on the Cote d'Or. This beach offers ideal swimming conditions all year-round, far from a given on Praslin due to the weather. At the same time, the small Cote d'Or village is just a few minutes' walk away, giving you plenty of options for an evening stroll, or a meal in one of its mostly very good restaurants.
However, if you'd prefer to stay on-site, you can enjoy some of the best cuisine available on Praslin in one of Le Duc's own restaurants. The different restaurants offer a mix of international meals and local delicacies. Le Dauphin offers Creole fusion cuisine, including delicious buffets and set menus, served on alternating days. The hotel also organises evening entertainment in the form of live music. Café des Arts offers fine-dining seafood, and is among Praslin's best restaurants, ensuring guests won't be disappointed by what's on offer. Set right on the beach, the Café des Arts restaurant has earned its reputation as one of the Seychelles' best restaurants by creating outstanding, mouth-watering dishes, served in the most amazing setting. In addition, don't miss out on the Chill Out tapas lounge bar, which offers a more relaxed option, serving fine tapas, cocktails, a selection of beers, and Spanish wines. Chill Out is also Praslin's number one entertainment spot, open till late at night, and the only place where you can still eat at 2 a.m. at the weekend and 1 a.m. during the week! Another high-point of the hotel is surely its spa area, which you can find next to the hillside estate.
The hotel also boasts three bars: Charcoal Bar, located at Le Dauphin, Blue Octopus, located at the Café des Arts, and the Chill Out tapas lounge bar.

Le Duc de Praslin has three unique magna pools designed to provide natural, superior-quality water with natural ocean minerals in order to provide the ultimate wellbeing-treatment for clients. In January 2015, the hotel opened a new fitness centre. This facility is located in the main building next to the pool, in a pleasant, inviting location. It provides its guests with state-of-the-art equipment, including an excercise bike, treadmill, resistance machine, crosstrainer, and free weights. Guests can make use of the facility free of charge daily from 06.00 to 20.00 throughout their stay at the hotel. It is a welcome addition geared towards guests’ well-being and fitness while on holiday.
