A few shops, supermarkets, a café, restaurant and snack bar are all within walking distance, making this Seychelles accommodation an ideal base for an independent holiday.

- A small supermarket for daily needs is only about a 4-5 minute walk away. The same applies to a fruit and veg farmer who sells his tropical fresh fruits here daily (absolute insider tip!).
- Blue Lagoon has its own car hire service.
- The public bus stop is within walking distance so you can get to all other regions of the island quickly, easily and inexpensively.
Description:
The charming Blue Lagoon is located only 150m from the sandy beach of Anse à la Mouche. Enjoy the modern comfort and the huge tropical, well-kept garden with its tall palm trees and lots of typical Seychelles plants. This property welcomes both couples as well as small families with a young child. From your private balcony or terrace, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the magnificent grounds or even as far as the sea. A good infrastructure as well as the bus stop are within a few minutes' walk from here. Anse à la Mouche beach, like some beaches in the Seychelles, can disappear at high tide, with the water coming right up to the adjacent road. At low tide, the water recedes, allowing you to stroll leisurely along the beach. Alternatively, the nearby diving school offers the option of getting to know the surroundings from an underwater perspective.
The individual accommodations are characterised by lavish and high-quality furnishings. Light colours, huge high-gloss tiles, lots of wooden features and modern architecture create an
inviting atmosphere with a feel-good factor. Comfortable furniture encourages indoor relaxation, which is very pleasant in your air-conditioned accommodation, especially on hot days. The decorative ceiling fans also provide cool air and you can chill your drinks to the perfect temperature in the small fridge provided. If you feel like taking a stroll through the city, the drive to Victoria is only 21km. The island's capital enchants with its lively charm and many sights - it's definitely worth it!

The accommodation was very clean, the apartment was very modern and the bed was very comfortable. It was exactly like the pictures. You have to pre-order breakfast the evening before and it is not easy to estimate the right amount of what you are ordering at the beginning so that you are not still hungry. But the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is OK. There were sand flies on the beach opposite and the sea is quite shallow and therefore only suitable for swimming to a limited extent. If I had known in advance that I would be renting a car for the full 6 days and driving to other beaches, I would have booked cheaper accommodation inland with a pool. We knew in advance that this accommodation did not have a pool, but since the weather in the Seychelles is very changeable and you might be back in the early afternoon because of the weather, a pool would certainly have been very nice. The 3 stars are due to the higher price-performance ratio. But I can also understand that there are people who give a 5-star rating here - for us the accommodation was fine. After our lovely accommodations on Praslin and La Dique, this accommodation was a bit disappointing for us. The Blue Lagoon is described as a small hotel. In fact, the complex consists of 2 new buildings, each with 5 apartments. A third house is under construction on the site. The path to the complex is not so nice and we initially hoped that we might be in the wrong place. However, the apartments are very modern, spacious and very nice. We had a room with a sea view on the ground floor. There was scaffolding on one side, but no one was working at the time. In the second building there are also 2 apartments on the first floor that are offered with a sea view. But here there is a house in front and the sea is only "a little" visible. A car is an advantage, as this area is a bit remote. A section of beach with very shallow water is in the immediate vicinity. Rachel, the manager and the staff are very friendly. Every evening we wrote her our breakfast request and time via Whatsapp. Breakfast is freshly prepared as requested and brought to the room.
