Seychelles: A Dream Come True!
I had always dreamt of seeing the Seychelles, but it seemed like an impossible dream and an unattainable destination… yet I was able to make my wonderful dream come true!
The breathtaking scenery of La Digue and Praslin will remain in my heart forever.
My husband and I arrived on La Digue and were immediately enchanted by the wonderful beaches framing this small island. We fell completely in love with it!!!… Every beach has its own distinctive character, and even the colour of the sea changes from one beach to the next!
It was wonderful cycling along the island’s little roads, with the locals greeting us and stopping to exchange a few friendly words!
I wouldn’t know which beach to choose… I absolutely loved Anse Patates and Anse Severe, not to mention Anse Source d'Argent!!! Anse Severe beach is wonderful… Even the sand is pink!!!

And then… what a wonderful surprise to come across a tortoise strolling along the road to Grand Anse!!!

The sense of well-being and tranquillity you feel while admiring the magnificent sunsets on La Digue is priceless.
Our excursion to Curieuse was a wonderful experience… tortoises roaming freely… a spectacular sea, granite boulders plunging into the water and a walk through a miniature forest to cross the island: a true little paradise.

Every little beach has its own dog, which settles down beside your towel, shares a few morsels of bread with you and keeps you company without being intrusive. This is another of the Seychelles’ special features!
Praslin!!!! A dream!!! If paradise on earth exists, it is surely at Anse Lazio! Words cannot describe how wonderful it is… I can only gaze at the photos.

Let’s just say it is the perfect beach! Palm trees frame velvety sand beside a sea in every shade of turquoise blue.
The beaches at Côte d’Or are equally beautiful, with lots of little shops and restaurants that make Praslin the more tourist-oriented island.
Strolling along the beach, gazing at a sea that simply could not be more beautiful, with fruit-laden palms making the scenery even more wonderful, makes Praslin an unforgettable island!
Praslin has a lush green heart, filled with flowers in a thousand shades and the scent of vanilla.

Personally, we preferred little La Digue, where the connection with the local people feels more genuine and every beach truly seems more wonderful than the last!
It is impossible to express in just a few words the magnificence of these islands, whose distinctive character makes them, I believe, unique in the world!
Seychelles… you will remain in my heart forever.

I can only thank SeyVillas for organising my splendid holiday so exceptionally well and enabling me to make a dream come true.
My stay on La Digue at Chez Marston was an entirely positive experience. While it is true that the property needs a little maintenance, the staff’s courtesy and helpfulness, the food and the location are all truly exceptional, so it is absolutely worthwhile.
The small Britannia hotel on Praslin is truly lovely! Every detail is beautifully looked after, the rooms are enormous and equipped with everything you could need, the pool and garden are very well maintained, and the food is worthy of special mention.
Whenever we returned in the afternoon, we would find a small bowl of treats waiting in our room: slices of fresh coconut, fried bananas, crisps, fresh fruit… delicious.

I have nothing negative to mention in this little travel journal, because even the occasional tropical showers that freshen up the day… belong in this picture of paradise.
Thank you, SeyVillas, for ‘guiding’ us through this wonderful holiday!
