The Chalets Cote Mer guesthouse is located in a beautiful spot in the south-east of Praslin, and offers a gorgeous view of the shimmering turquoise ocean. Guests of this lovingly-designed accommodation will be struck by the beauty of the garden and the breathtaking ocean-view from their room. After an invigorating swim, it is possible to relax on the sun loungers made available on the sun deck, which also offers direct access to the sea. This means that guests can easily spend the day relaxing in the garden, pool area, or sun deck, while also making the most of the crystal-clear ocean water from time to time, ensuring it is a real paradise for snorkellers and swimmers!
The closest beach to the guesthouse is located about 1.7 kilometres away (1 mile) and can be reached easily thanks to the island's bus service. The Chalets Cote Mer guesthouse is located on the same grounds as the Colibri Guesthouse, and shares its restaurant with this other guesthouse, as well as the same first-class level of service. Rene, the French head chef, creates a delicious mixture of Creole and international dishes that guests can enjoy in the ocean-view restaurant.
The estate offers a number of standard rooms, superior rooms, and six apartments with plenty of space for families, as well as self-catering facilities in these apartments. Further afield on Praslin, there are a number of gorgeous beaches that are well-worth a visit, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Vallée de Mai, where you can admire numerous indigenous plant species such as the famous Coco de Mer.

The food was great. Really recommendable. Visually beautiful and very tasty. The breakfast was a bit simpler than in Europe, we particularly enjoyed the yogurt and jams. The service was very friendly and quick. We will definitely be back. We had chalet number 2 and will take that again.
