Description:
At the Hostellerie La Digue hotel, it is possible to stay in close proximity to both the beautiful beach and some of the island’s other amenities and infrastructure. Not only that, but this guesthouse also offers the chance for a truly independent getaway thanks to the spacious, practical, comfortable bungalows, where you can enjoy the luxury of having your own veranda and tropical garden, which surrounds each bungalow.
On La Digue, you will certainly enjoy the feeling of being completely at your own leisure. Thanks to the intense beauty of the views, the huge variety of the island, and the stunning natural sights and sounds, all of which you can enjoy from your own terrace, perhaps with a book in your hand or a cool drink by your side, you can really sink into your holiday and let the idyllic atmosphere of the island wash over you. The friendly owners of the guesthouse will welcome you in with a drink upon arrival, and are always available for questions to help you out in any way possible.
The bungalows of the Hostellerie were completed in 2013, and are suitable for two to nine people, with furnishings and facilities for simple, hassle-free self-catering. There are two bungalows with two bedrooms each, as well as one house with three bedrooms available. It is also possible to accommodate up to two or three other guests thanks to the extra bed policy of the guesthouse. Each bungalow is rented out as a whole unit, so will not be shared with other guests. The living units are well-suited to families, couples, and groups, all of whom will feel right at home here. In fact, large groups are also welcome, with the possibility to rent multiple living units at the same time.
The contemporary design of the buildings includes the fitting of a kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, fridge, and kettle. Each unit also offers a dining area and a comfortable seating area, ensuring the possibility to stay indoors for some well-earned rest is always on the cards. The fans and air-conditioning allow you to control the inside temperature. The charmingly-arranged bedrooms offer the ideal place for a restful night’s sleep, while the spacious bathroom with shower (the large bungalow also offers a bathtub) gives you a place to freshen up before heading out into the tropical temperatures of the island. The rooms are also cleaned on a daily basis, while the bed linen is changed regularly. Beach towels are also available for free, which will certainly save you some space in your suitcase!
The accommodation is located just three minutes’ walk away from the island’s ferry jetty, while the beautiful beach of Anse Severe is around fifteen minutes away on-foot. The island’s other beautiful beaches can be reached simply on foot or by bike. The small harbour town of La Passe is also nearby, and offers the chance to experience authentic Seychelles life, as well as relatively good infrastructure, consisting of restaurants, cafés, bars, and small supermarkets. Finally, there are also souvenir shops with local produces, a small fish market, and an internet café.

Central location, well-equipped apartment with nice rooms. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
The location of this guesthouse is good, as it is central and yet quiet - apart from the barking dogs and the crowing roosters. Since it is very close to the street (hardly any car traffic, but cyclists and pedestrians), the bedrooms and the kitchen are very visible. The kitchen is moderately equipped. So there were no tea towels, no bottle opener... The bicycles (pretty rusty, no working gears) were offered to us for free and then they had a rental price that was significantly higher than the local landlords. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
