Description:
Anse La Réunion is, amongst Seychelles beaches, a real ‘all-rounder’: it is easy to find, it has shallow water that is excellent for bathing, and at high tide offers good conditions for swimming and snorkelling. Nearby, you can also find some well-known restaurants, shops, and accommodation options. One of these is the Elje Villa, which invites its guests in with a Creole atmosphere, while the surrounding area offers a cornucopia of different ways to spend your time.
Upon striding through the wrought iron and wooden estate wall, you will already have that holiday feeling thanks to the wonderful garden area. The lawn that surrounds the house is dotted with palms and other tropical plants, while the calming trickle of water from the fountain accentuates the atmosphere and creates a wonderful, inviting ambience. Here, you can find a shaded spot on your large veranda shortly after arrival and enjoy the atmosphere over a cooling drink. In fact, there is wicker and wooden furniture at your disposal, allowing you to enjoy your day in total comfort.
The villa presents itself in an authentic Seychelles house style, with spacious rooms and a bright, airy interior with lots of natural materials, including stone and wood. The original architecture of the living area and the bedrooms opens up a spacious area for your stay, and augments the feeling of size in this vast interior space for you to enjoy. The heart of the interior is the living/dining room with integrated kitchen. Here, you can spend the majority of your day; relaxing, eating, preparing food, whatever you wish. The vast space afforded by the room opens up the possibility for different people to do different things at the same time without disturbing others. This is especially the case when you book just one bedroom, as the communal areas are then shared with other holidaymakers. Sofas and armchairs, a TV, and a dining table represent traditional living-room aspects, while the kitchen personifies well-being. The natural wooden worktops underline the quaintness of the villa’s living space. As well as this, the kitchen is fully-equipped, allowing you to fully self-cater at your own leisure. Anyone looking for something a bit more relaxing has the possibility of booking breakfast on-site.
The three bedrooms offer the perfect space to enjoy some deep, relaxing sleep, either during the day or at night, in complete comfort. There are two bedrooms which contain a double bed and single bed each, as well as a third bedroom with a double bed and three single beds. All of the bedrooms have direct access to the living/kitchen area, and there are also the same number of bathrooms, all of which are en suite and offer a wash basin, WC, and shower, ensuring privacy even when the house is full.
The beautiful beach of Anse Réunion is just 300m away from the accommodation, and is ideal for families, with more than enough to attract anyone to its sandy shores. We highly recommend taking a walk here at sunset! In just ten minutes, guests can also reach the harbour town on La Digue, where it is possible to take part in a number of excursions to neighbouring islands. Furthermore, the breathtaking Anse Source d’Argent beach, as well as Anse Severe, are around 2km each from the accommodation, making the Elje Villa the ideal starting point for a beach holiday. Finally, it is also the perfect spot for independent travellers, with supermarkets, banks, and restaurants all available within walking-distance of the villa.
